Love Colors: A New Approach to Love, Relationships, and Auras

Rate this book
In her bestseller Life Colors, psychic Pamala Oslie explained that auras contain important clues to personality traits. In her new book, she shows how these remarkable energy fields can help readers find the perfect soul mate. Using simple self-tests, readers first discover their aura’s color and the colors of a potential life partner. The book provides honest descriptions of each aura, explaining both a color's advantages and its deepest flaws. After readers define what they’re looking for in a relationship, the book helps them understand what type of person best suits them. It then suggests ways to meet and attract their perfect color match, or to improve an existing relationship. With this new insight, readers become more accepting of themselves and others, learn effective methods for changing unwanted behaviors, and discover new paths to healthy, fulfilling romantic relationships.

I thought this book was about personality types. It's about the two layers of your aura closest to your body. Nuff said. Apperantly, people are broken down into the following categories: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, lavender, magenta, crystal, abstract tan, logical tan, environmental tan and sensitive tan. Pretty sure the magenta, lavender and crystal are just the latest "aura trends" but those tans just make no sense. The questions on the quiz to find your colors were terrible, with really poor construct validity.

For example one item was, "are your home, clothes, actions and thoughts bizarre, outrageous, or surprising?" And you needed to answer that on a 3 point yes/sometimes/no scale. Given that it actually have about 12 questions in one, it was ridiculous.

A lot of fluff, and not much substance.

Loved this one too...Got it at the same time that I purchased Life Colors...And I love reading and studying and learning about love...Plus, this is one of the areas in my life where I've always had the most difficulty so this will definately be kept nearby as a go to book in the future...Interesting what it has to say....

Interesting if you treat the different colors as personality types and don't focus on them as auras (I believe in auras, just not in this kind).
