Faith is a book about faith (of course), how does it works and how you can get it. It is actually a good book, yet it took me quite sometime to finish it. Probably because i don't really like non-fictions. This book elaborates the steps on how to generate your faith and also how to use it.

While reading this book, i sort of read it like i'm reading a textbook. It's very organized, just like a textbook. I don't really think i'm a fond of it, but this book is actually good.

One of my favorite quotes in this book is:
"We wear so many different masks in our attempt to be acceptable that we lose sight of who we are, or else never even know." (page 130)

Following the above sentence, he then elaborates the story of David who knew himself as a whole, that he's able to face Goliath even without an armor.

Nice huh?

An interesting book which Jill gave to me. I appreciated it with two exceptions: the beginning and the end. The author is a megachuch pastor, not a theologian. Both the strengths and weaknesses are apparent in his work. It IS very interesting in it's core explanation of Christian faith. However, it is incredibly superficial in some respects (eg meaning of logos in John 1:1). It is fundamentally an expression of the prosperity gospel (give your CHURCH - not even other Christian charities- 10% of your wealth and you will become rich). Not exactly "blessed are the poor".
