It all began once I discovered the outlet of my thoughts came in form of verses...
The first poem I wrote was when I was ten. At that time, we were living in Virginia, USA. As a form of encouragement, my parents published that poem in a local newspaper in Vienna. I was so enthused by the recognition that I began writing almost regularly. After seven years in America, we moved back to Jeddah, KSA. It was then when I found myself reading so much merely to understand and adapt various techniques in poetry. I grew to love Shakepear's sonnets in particular. I would actally sit there after reading a sonnet and let all the words sink in as I admired its beauty and marveled on the complexity of each verse. After writing this book, I've begun to explore the world of poetry as a struggling amateur with a dream...
