Gabrielle has now written fourteen adult novels and a novel for young adults. Once the 12 books of Conspiracy 365 are completed, this tally will be a tad bigger! Following this mammoth endeavour she already has plans for another three adult novels and two more YAs.

Ook dit deel was niet heel bijzonder, maar ik ben blij dat er eindelijk weer wat vooruitgang in zit. Ik kan niet wachten totdat ik december heb gelezen, want ondertussen ben ik wel toe aan antwoorden.

Dit deel vond ik weer iets spectaculairder dan het vorige deel. Geen antwoorden gekregen, maar er gebeurde wel weer wat. Geeft me weer wat meer motivatie voor de overige boeken, want ik begin er nu wel een beetje klaar mee te worden.
Ik zie het al helemaal gebeuren dat straks alle antwoorden in het laatste boekje gepropt zitten (slechts 100 bladzijdes). Helemaal afgeraffeld en dus spijt dat we daarvoor alle boeken gelezen hebben. Ach laten we het nog maar eventjes afwachten.

Conspiracy 365 by Gabrielle Lord is a thrilling mystery about a boy named Callum Ormand. Callum is a hunted fugitive that is being hunted by the police and two criminal groups. One criminal is Oriana de la force and Callum is convinced she is behind the kidnapping of his sister after her coma. Callum plants a bug in Oriana's house. What will he discover
Conspiracy 365 is a great book for all people. I love how this book is a big mystery of a teenage boy accused of attempting murder of his sister and uncle. I like how you can never predict what is going to happen next to Callum. He is s very unlucky boy and I can't wait to finish the season.
I would recommend this book to anyone from ages 9-99 because there is verily little violence I think all people that like mysterious books would like this book because it has a great mystery. That is what I liked and who I would recommend this book to.

This book is about a boy called Callum trying to track down and work out what the Ormond Singularity is. My favourite of the story is at the end when everyone like Rafe Ormond, Eric Blair, Nelson Sharkey and Winter, Cal, and Boges are all double crossing each other. My favourite character is Callum because he shows that even though you are a teen fugitive, being chased by everyone from major criminals, ex-detectives, police and his own family, while his friends are the only people he can trust.

September starts from where august left cal...drowning in a freezing cold river looking for his sister he fails to find her and washes ashore cold and half out and his sister comes and snaps cal out of it and she's now outta the comma but thats just a little bit of what cal faces and what awaits you in this book

"September" was another "more-suspense-than-action", which I liked. But there was a good deal of action - just no hang-gliding escape/jet ski chase/car chase sequence. :P
**spoiler alert**
- Cal wakes up on the riverbank to find his sister Gabbi is alive!!! She woke up from her coma as soon as she hit the water and started swimming. (has no one ever tried waking people up from comas by splashing them with water? Might be worth trying... :P Though, once Gabbi described with little she remembered, it seemed more like she was drugged.)
- Cal selectively fills Gabbi in on the past 8 months that's she been asleep before they drop her off at the local Billabong police station (The shock the police must have had... and what did Cal and Gabbi's mom think when she got the call??)
- Once back in the city, Cal surveys Oriana de la Force since she's the one who kidnapped Gabbi. He wants to know where the Jewel and the Riddle are.
- Since Cal can't stay at the beachside mansion anymore, he couch surfs between Winter's place and Repro's, except Three-O discovers Cal's new hideout with Repro, ties them up, and calls the cops. Luckily Repro has an "emergency escape" through a dangerous tunnel that's caving in. Left with no choice, Cal and Repro crawl through the tunnel and collapse the entrance behind them so the cops can't follow
- Further along, a rockslide pins Cal under some rocks and Repro has to carefully remove the rocks because a big boulder hovers over Cal that would squish him if it fell on him. (Luckily Repro is good at Jenga)
- Cal returns to Winter's and Boges and him decide to bug Oriana's office using a tiny wireless mic, disguised as a moth, that Cal will shoot through Oriana's window, using an air rifle, while he's hiding in a tree on the property... Obviously Cal misses the first shoot because he "forgot to calibrate for the slight misalignment of the sights"... THAT WAS THE FIRST THING I KEPT THINKING! REMEMBER TO ADJUST YOUR AIM! As fate would have it, the bug bounced back into the tree where Cal was hiding after he missed so he got another shot. #eyeroll
- Once the bug was planted, there was only 10-12 hours of battery life so Cal and Boges had to hope that Oriana would just happen to talk about the location of the Jewel and Riddle, in that 10-12 hour timespan, in her office... And of course she does. (They're being stored in a safety security box at Zurich Bank) #thatsucks
- Shortly after hearing the information, Sumo's scanner picks up that the house is bugged so Boges and Cal need to skedaddle ASAP
- Cal then thinks he's Nicholas Cage from National Treasure and decides he wants to steal Oriana's fingerprint so he can break into the biometric safety security box ("he'll figure out PIN situation later") #eyeroll
As he and Winter are tailing Oriana, he takes his chance after she touches a purse, but he gets caught escape by one of the Oriana's goons.
- Oriana decides to get rid of Cal once and for all by having Kelvin drive him out to Dingo Bones Valley, a desert, to kill him and leave him for the buzzards to eat. Kelvin isn't thrilled by the idea, but he throws Cal into the trunk of the car and takes him out to the desert
*BUT instead of killing him, Kelvin pretends to shoot Cal (and Cal passes out) When Cal wakes up the next day, his hands and feet have been untied and a random set of numbers has been draw onto his ankle in blank ink (ORIANA'S PIN???)
- While trying to survive in the desert, a random car pulls up and offers Cal a ride to the "nearest town", except it's a ghost town and only Snake (the person who picked him up), his buddy Jacko, and their dog Sniffer live there. (Because that's not sus)
- Cal rests for the day before venturing to the main highway during the evening, "because a bus stops there every morning"... (Really?? You're telling me bus comes by EVERY morning to pick up passengers that MIGHT be wandering the desert???) But, when Cal wakes up from his daytime snooze, he overhears Snake talking on the phone (which he claimed to have no signal) about the cops coming to the deserted town to pick up Cal, so Snake and Jacko can get the reward money
Therefore, Cal has to make a run for it, but as previously mentioned to Cal "Sniffer has the best nose in the country. There's nothing he can't find" so, of course, Sniffer is set after Cal.
*Oh! And Winter finds her parents' car in Sligo's junkyard! So she's eager to investigate to see if anything was wrong with the car, or if her dad really did just accidently lose control (I'm guessing Sligo cut the brakes or steering or something so he could inherit the Frey fortune)
I enjoyed the suspense of "September" but the bug being shot into Oriana's office (after missing once and alerting her), AND her actually discussing the location of the Jewel and Riddle during the time they were listening, is preeeeeetty far-fetched.
WHY didn't Kelvin kill Cal? And so help me if those random numbers on his ankle are the PIN because HOW would Kelvin know Cal wanted that?

Some unavoidable spoilers for the previous Conspiracy 365 series in this review.
I don't know what is happening but August and September both were a flop. Nothing happened that was interesting in the slightest. Barely any progress was made with the DMOs and we are supposed to be rounding off the series. If that painting that Winter found was supposed to fill our curiosity for this book then it failed.
Cal is turning into one hell of a jerk. How he treats Repro is disgusting. For someone who is a supposed friend and who has saved him neck on numerous occasions, Cal doesn't seem to really care about him in the slightest. He uses his skills and them tosses him away, only to reappear and demand refugee at his place when he is trouble. Repro is injured and hurt for Cal's sake but Cal never repays him. It seriously making him come across as a real douche.
Also the action in this was once again unbelievable, rushed and doggedly written. The dialogue is stiff and robotic. The writing blander than it has ever been before and don't even get me started on Gabbi's condition!
Overall, I am glad we are nearing the end of this series it is just getting worse and worse. Not looking forward to October at all.

Please be a mannequin...I will be SO upset if Gabbi actually dies...GABBI IS ALIVE! I KNEW IT!
Gabbi being alive and awake was the best part, followed by Cal saying hi to her via the cat picture.
NOW it's feeling like a typical action movie, only now there's an added heist.
As glad as I am he has Winter's place to crash at, I liked it better when he was constantly on the move and having to find new places to stay.
The secret twin plot had better be resolved by the end.
Only 4 books left!

This book is about a 16 year old boy named Callum Ormond. He has been framed countless times and is practically wanted dead or alive. But Cal doesn't have time to get arrested, I mean for one he just doesn't want to, he has to show to everyone that he's innocent, He has to retrieve the Ormond Jewel, the Ormond Riddle, decipher everything, and now he has to somehow go to Ireland. Read this story to experience this great thriller where Cal almost dies multiple times.
If you like the previous books or like books like A Series of Unfortunate Events then I would definitely recommend this to you.

Het was weer even geleden dat ik het vorige deel heb gelezen, maar met de korte herhaling in het begin zat ik er zo weer in. Cal maakt onrealistisch veel mee, maar toch vind ik het wel een leuke serie om zo even tussendoor te lezen. De boeken lezen vlot en het eind zorgt er ook nu weer voor dat ik het volgende deel wil lezen, dit keer zal ik Oktober dan ook gewoon in oktober lezen en niet weer een paar maanden wachten, zodat ik dit jaar deze serie uit gelezen heb!

het negende deel uit de complot serie. was weer een spannend boek wat weer met een cliffhanger eindigde. een spannend dun boekje wat erg makkelijk weg las. ben erg benieuwd hoe het nu verder gaat met Callum.

The formula for these books is getting stale. There is a way to write them so that they all don’t have to end with Cal in dire straits. How about he is on the edge of a breakthrough or something else? At this point I just want to know what the Ormond Singularity is so I can be done.

I really liked this book. This one, while it didn't seem to progress the mystery along, it had a lot of action. I love Boges, Winter, and Cal's interactions. I like how they are willing to help one another out. The cliffhanger was perfect.

2 - there is a reminder of what happened last month at the beginning,
3 - fast-paced,
4 - ends in the middle of something exciting going on. You will want to jump from one Book right into the next.
Seems similar to 39 Clues though I think (if I remember right) that the kids were younger in that book. This one is better because it is all written by the same author. 39 Clues began to feel like it wasn’t thought out much ahead of time because of the authors thing. I never finished it because I started reading before all the books had been published...

I enjoyed this one, though I still can't put my finger on what I like so much about this series. I think Cal doesn't always make the best choices. I can't tell if Winter is Cal's love interest or Boges' or maybe both. I think it is partly that I find the soap opera bits amusing (escaping from being buried alive? waking from a long coma to be just fine? you might have an identical twin you never knew about? stuffed in a trunk repeatedly and/or left for dead?) and partly that I love the Batman's Alfred aspect of Boges, though I picture him as a skinny nerd and am always momentarily confused when his heavier weight or slow movements are pointed out--what teen can actually do all that stuff?! I do want to know what this Ormond Singularity garbage is all about, and I want the bad guys to pay for their mess and have Cal come safely out of hiding, so October here I come.

Some Relief at Last!
Spoilers out of the way first, because luckily the author did not kill off Cal’s nine-year-old sister in this series. That would just be too dark. Also, my mom and I came up with some theories as to how she might’ve survived, and I can’t believe how right she was!
This book had 181 pages this time, still shorter than the majority, but longer than the last one. As always, the page numbers were counting down instead of up, and the chapters were represented as different days of September, with timestamps at the start of each scene. The story is told from Cal’s point of view.
With Gabi safe and sound back at home, Cal feels more determined than ever to retrieve the Riddle and Jewel from Oriana so he can solve the mystery and finally put an end to the year-long danger following him. His friends are a great help as usual, though there isn’t much trouble from the villains of the story until the end, as Cal and his friends do some reconnaissance.
Repro makes a comeback, as do Three-O and Freddy, who are causing trouble, but luckily Sligo isn’t much of a problem for Cal in this one, after having lost two of his goons in the same night back in book 7. Cal’s faith in his friends is unshakable, and his hatred for Oriana de la Force is stronger than ever after she kidnapped his sister and almost had her killed.
Fewer technical mistakes in this book again! Last book had it bad, but this book more than made up for it. I only saw a few pieces of missing punctuation, but the rest was good. The writing quality in general was up to par with the rest of the series, action packed with a spy-esque mystery feel during the info-gathering and sneaking around. Very fun!
Shorter book, but the pacing was both fast and slow. The first half was a lot of talking and figuring things out, and the second was where they put their words into actions and then faced the consequences.
Nearly done, so you might as well continue the series. I definitely recommend reading this book and continuing all the way to book 12!
Spoilers out of the way first, because luckily the author did not kill off Cal’s nine-year-old sister in this series. That would just be too dark. Also, my mom and I came up with some theories as to how she might’ve survived, and I can’t believe how right she was!
This book had 181 pages this time, still shorter than the majority, but longer than the last one. As always, the page numbers were counting down instead of up, and the chapters were represented as different days of September, with timestamps at the start of each scene. The story is told from Cal’s point of view.
With Gabi safe and sound back at home, Cal feels more determined than ever to retrieve the Riddle and Jewel from Oriana so he can solve the mystery and finally put an end to the year-long danger following him. His friends are a great help as usual, though there isn’t much trouble from the villains of the story until the end, as Cal and his friends do some reconnaissance.
Repro makes a comeback, as do Three-O and Freddy, who are causing trouble, but luckily Sligo isn’t much of a problem for Cal in this one, after having lost two of his goons in the same night back in book 7. Cal’s faith in his friends is unshakable, and his hatred for Oriana de la Force is stronger than ever after she kidnapped his sister and almost had her killed.
Fewer technical mistakes in this book again! Last book had it bad, but this book more than made up for it. I only saw a few pieces of missing punctuation, but the rest was good. The writing quality in general was up to par with the rest of the series, action packed with a spy-esque mystery feel during the info-gathering and sneaking around. Very fun!
Shorter book, but the pacing was both fast and slow. The first half was a lot of talking and figuring things out, and the second was where they put their words into actions and then faced the consequences.

Conspiracy book number 9 was really good because the book led on with the main character Cal trying to still redeem himself for the crime he was framed for. Cal finally reunites with his sister in the beginning of the book and takes to the hospital going to try find the one that kidnapped his baby sister. Cal then comes up with the conclusion that Oriana is the one that was behind it and tries to gain information on why she kidnapped his sister and try to gain more information on where the jewel is located and more information on the riddle that is with him. So he meets up with old friends and plants a bug inside Oriana's house to try and get the information he needs but only hears a little amount of information he needs before the bug is destroyed and he is chased by Oriana's guards until he finally escapes and is able to think about everything that went on that night.He then stays at a place that his friend prepares for him and drifts off. With the info that Cal gained he knows that he has to go to Zurich Bank to keep going with this investigation and the long process to clear his name so Cal and his friends steal a copy of Oriana's fingerprints but was caught by one of her guards and was held hostage until being dumped in the middle of Dingo Bones Valley where he was suppose to be killed. But he was helped by a unknown person but without food and water he would not last long.The basically ends there except for the part where he makes it back to the city becuase of a man that was traveling through and was dropped off back in the city with new clues and information on how to get the pin from Oriana to try and get the missing drawings from Cal's father and the missing location on the jewel and the missing part of the riddle.

Conspiracy 365: September a wonderful addition to an already awesome series. The action is plentiful and frequent, with Cal struggling to outwit the bad guys, which he doesn't always do. With the help of his friends, Cal has been able to survive all of his encounters with the bad guys, even if things don't always turn out as he would wish.
What I really enjoy about this series is that the books come out every month. Since each book is ends with a cliffhanger, I know that I will not have long to wait until the next book is published. I am kept sitting on the edge of my seat as I read these books and can't wait to finish each one. These books are real nail-biters. After nine months of books, it's amazing to me that I have any fingernails left at all.
Gabrielle Lord had created an utterly fantastic series in Conspiracy 365. There are only three books left, and I cannot wait to see how the whole things ends. There are still so many questions to be answered. Who is the guy that looks like Cal's twin? What are the last two missing lines to the Ormond Riddle? How will Cal make his way to Ireland without a passport? How will it all end? I don't know about you, but December just can't roll around fast enough for me!
Overall, Conspiracy 365: September is another adrenaline-packed novel that will keep you turning pages late into the night until your eyes are bloodshot. The drama and action will keep the reader glued to the book as the truth is finally revealed. I cannot wait to see if Cal heads out for Ireland in Conspiracy 365: October. He will need the luck of the Irish to make halfway around the world in one piece.
