This was just way too basic.The book description promises the reader "a thorough overview of the Angelic realm and the methods of Angel Therapy." Not so much. A lot of filler on the clair senses, bare bones descriptions of the Angelic hierarchy and angels that I also found to be inaccurate and confusing at times.Techniques mentioned are basic oracle card reading practices and cord cutting. Not really anything you could start a professional practice with. As other readers mentioned she recycled a lot of information from her other books. Also the writing is really at a lower reading level and topics are kind of disjointed.

In 241 pages there are exactly 8 devoted to Angelic Healing and 9 on "How to give an Angel Reading." Disappointing. I would only recommend this book to those completely new to spiritual topics, if at all. For those beyond the 101 track, skip this there's better teachers and trainings out there.

Try the book "Angel Practitioner Handbook" by Maria Maas instead for a better, more cohesive and concise look at this particular topic. Kyle Gray is great for more detailed information on angels and the archangels. Also Calista's book about the feminine archangels (archaia) is wonderful.

I discovered about eight years ago that there were angels around me. I've learned over the years how communicate with them, but I'm still working on learning how to actually work with them. But finding Doreen is a god send for me. She helps me understand things so much better, teaches me things I couldn't have learned on my own and also acts as a form of confirmation for me (the angels tell me a lot of the same things that I'm reading in Doreen's books, that sometimes to this day I still tend to listen too much to my ego and wonder "am I just imagining that?"). There is so much I don't understand about my abilities. I'm really learning a lot from this book on how to fully learn about and tap into my natural abilities.

Just about all of us have dealt with toxic people and situations over the course of our lives. In this book, author Doreen Virtue examines how Earth Angels (her term for what others call lightworkers) can best manage some of those people and situations without causing harm to themselves.

Virtue also examines how one can call upon angels and spirit guides for assistance during difficulties, and how one can put one's natural healing or psychic gifts to use both personally and professionally.

This book would be of use to any highly sensitive person in finding practical guidance for living in the day-to-day world.

I finally sat down and really read this book instead of discounting it as I did the first time. I was looking for info on healing with angels, and I will say this book is moreso about establishing a practice as a practicing angel reader/healer/writer etc. Which is fine, and I needed that information too, but I think it's important to note that actual healing modalities are in Ch. 12. The rest gives a good foundation in all kinds of things related to being a spiritual worker who deals with angels.

Dieses Buch musste ich kaufen, weil mich die Engel darin erinnert haben, das mein Leben kein Sinn ergibt. Ich wollte meinen Ding machen und nicht mehr „funktionieren . Um die Probleme wegzuwischen“ Nein. Es war mein Leben. Meine vergeudete Zeit. Auf jeden Fall haben mich die Engel zu diesem Buch gebracht. Und als ich es las, wusste ich, ich muss es mit nehmen.

In diesem Buch wird über das ganze Thema der Kartenlegung, Heiliungsession, Werbung in der Buchhandel und andere wertvolle Tipps und Tricks um erfolgreich sein Business aufzubauen. Doreen Virtue spricht aus ihrer Erfahrung. Die Engel sind immer da. Sie sind liebevolle Wesen, die nicht so scheiße sind wie die Menschen mit ihrem Ego. Die Engel sind voller Liebe und voller Fürsorge und wollen helfen, dürfen aber nicht, weil jeder Mensch einen freien Willen hat. Diesen freien Willen darf man nicht verletzen. Der Text ist flüssig geschrieben wie ein Honig und mir hat es Spaß gemacht das Buch zu lesen. Ich liebe solche Bücher über Engel, in denen man viele Informationen. Tipps und Hinweise herausfindet, die man an sich selber testen oder nutzen kann. Ich kann zurzeit nie genug davon kriegen.

Bei diesem Buch war es wirklich so, das ich es nicht in 2 Tagen gelesen habe sondern in 9 tagen. Das lag daran das in diesem Buch sehr viele wichtige Informationen wie man sich spirituell macht, wie man sich selbständig macht, welches Thema man hat und wie man an Kunden kommt, erklärt und beschreibt. Und die Engel sagen auch, was man tun muss um seine Hellfühligkeit zu nutzen: Sport, raus gehen, chakra Clearing, null Süßes und keinen Alkohol trinken und viel schlafen.

Jeder von uns ist spirituell, nur muss man lernen und üben um sie besser nutzen zu können. Zu diesem Buch gibt es auch ein Kartendeck, was ich in meiner Sitzung auch verwende. Es gibt noch unfassbar viele Bücher von Doreen Virtue „Karma Clearing, Meditation über das vorherige Leben, Ernährung usw.

This book brought me peace and positivity while reading it. The author uses her psychic abilities to communicate with and access knowledge from angels. She encourages her readers to ask angels to bring them peace whenever they require, and urges them to understand that no request is too big or too small. She professes that angels are beings very close to God (regardless of your religious or spiritual denomination) and that they can help many people at a time. I liked the fact that Virtue didn't preach any specific religion while speaking about angels, although I do have to say, if you keep up with her preachings these days (2018) she has gone full blown evangelist. But this book is before that time came, and is very compassionate and innocent to me (and open to differing spiritual beliefs).

The first half or so of the book was full of information that can be found elsewhere, regarding psychic training and practice. The second half was just full of information on how to go into business for yourself... assuming you have spent money on Doreen's official certification process (read: pyramid scheme.) Disappointment. I gave it three stars because some of the archangel information is useful. I'll be sure to use that, at least.

I downloaded this copy to review from NetGalley after being gifted The Angel Therapy Oracle deck for Christmas.

My experiences of services from spiritual/healers has led me to believe that the majority charge an exorbitant price for very little in return – the exchange of energies never balancing. I have a great deal of respect for Doreen Virtue for making this journey available for everyone at such a reasonable cost.

Doreen takes us on this healing journey in clear and precise writing, sharing her own experiences along the way. The exercises can be done by anyone and you don’t need to buy any further equipment to do them!

From the beginning of being introduced to the Archangels, Doreen explains the four clairs (and how to enhance those senses), how to open our 3rd eye and how to conduct an Angel reading (shortly after reading this part I had a dream vision where my angels connected me to a friend’s partner in spirit and I was able to give her information that has since helped her healing) . There is information and exercises on automatic writing, angel lights, numbers, etheric cord cutting ………….. in fact all the resources and support you need to make your own Angel Therapy healing journey.

I’ve read this through, made notes that are personal to me and dipped in and out again. It’s not a book that you will read through once and then discard (well, not if you’re serious about taking the journey!) It’s a book that you will dip in and out of at different stages of your journey and for different reasons. You will use it again and again. In my opinion it is a well worth addition to anyones spiritual bookshelf whether you are experienced with the angels or just starting out on your journey.

This book was knowledgeable and informative. I loved how it offered clear, organized lists of specific angels and the ways each one can help you. I remember reading the introduction and feeling emotional. The topic of angels and divine guidance can often be dismissed as “woo woo,” but this book reminded me how real and comforting that connection can be.

I borrowed it from the library, but it’s definitely one I’d prefer to own. It’s the kind of book you’ll want on hand, especially if you plan to work more personally with angels without the pressure of jotting things down or worrying about returning it.

I really enjoyed learning the angelic names, their explanations, and the meditations that helped strengthen my sensory and spiritual gifts. It’s a beautiful guide for anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of the angelic realm and how to work with divine energy in everyday life.

The only reason I didn’t give it a full five stars is that some sections felt a bit repetitive, especially when listing angel names and attributes. Still, it’s a warm, enlightening read that left me feeling uplifted and connected.

I was drawn to this book because of the recent loss of a dear friend and the experience of having received a mysterious form of contact from what I like to believe was her spirit/my own personal angel. The nature of the book is geared more toward guiding people along the path to creating their own business in the world of "angel therapy" and while I wasn't reading it for that purpose, I did find it comforting to learn about the angels and what their names mean, etc. Pretty thought-provoking stuff. :)

This is a book I use a lot as a resource. There are so many pieces that can apply to so many situations. I love all the details about specific angels as well as guidance on how to develop my skills. I'm already a fan of Doreen Virtue and I am one of her Certified Angel Card Readers(TM). If anyone is interested in learning more about working with the Angels, I highly recommend this book. I also recommend getting the hardcover because you'll end up using it like me - so you'll need the hardcover to withstand all the use!!

If you have already read some books by this author you can save your money. Basically only a fairly good recapitulation of some of her former published works.


Eigentlich nur viele Wiederholungen über Dinge, die schon in anderen Büchern standen. Wenn man bereits einige frühere Bücher der Autorin besitzt, kann man sich dieses hier getrost sparen. Ansonsten eine gute Zusammenfassung von einigen ihrer Werke.

Divided into three sections: Connecting with the Angels & Archangels; Angel Therapy Methods; You Are a Spiritual Teacher and Healer. This book has some fluff and filler, but also enough truly useful exercises and insight that I'm glad I purchased it rather than simply getting it from the library.

If I could recommend only one Doreen Virtue book. This would be the one. It is full of insight, specific technique, and instruction to allow for people with intuitive abilities (everyone) to further understand, foster, and expand their talents.

Fantastic Read

This is my first Doreen Virtue book and loved every page, word and bit of advice. I cant wait to read more of her books and learn what i need to grow and live more spiritually connected to life.
