I found this book as a young adult, shortly after realizing that the events had taken place on my 7th birthday. I was somewhat aware of the protests going on at the time, but not the details and certainly not the fact that the government had killed four students on my birthday.
This book is the result of a thorough and thoughtful investigation of the fatal errors in leadership and also the many commonalities between the victims and the perpetrators of these killings.
