EVERYONE HAS EXPERIENCED TOUGH TIMES and difficult days and
some people have lived through crises that challenge everything they believe in.
It's during the dark times of trials and unexplainable challenges that make us cry out,
"Why God? Why did you allow this thing to happen? Why do you seem to ignore
the cruelty and evil in our world?" We wonder how to respond when God seems
silent and our prayers go answered. These questions have plagued the minds and
hearts of everyone at one time or another. I'm grateful that there are answers to these
questions, and things do make sense once we see things from God's perspective and
extend our faith in him.
In spite of all we go through and all we witness in our world, there is a God who cares
about us, who walks with us and is in control of our world. If we will open our hearts
to God's truth as this book shows us, we will experience the strength and peace that
God offers, and because of that we will make it through anything we face.
