I wanted to like this story. The premise grabbed my attention, and I’m a sucker for an enemies-to-lovers romance. The first few chapters kept me reading into the night. However, after setting up the main characters as two strong successful people who protected those they love, it began to unravel in a few places. Still, I continued to read.
[Semi-Spoilers ahead]
What I liked about this story:
• The beginning chapters and subsequent “meet cute” grabbed my interest right away
• Smokey the dog was a great addition for a comedy aspect – I wanted more Smokey
• The attraction between Griffin and Juliet was believable
• Their unexpected common interests and similar backgrounds (rags to riches, raised by a single parent, protectors)
What I didn’t like:
• I didn’t find believable their hopping into bed so quicky, or so often, in light of their courtroom drama
• They constantly ignored what was going on around them, and I didn’t find this believable for their characters
• In spite of her amnesia, I don’t believe Juliet’s basic character would be so changed. For example: suddenly she was too trusting of people a child could see through. Also, I feel she should have been more interested in those people she left in the lurch as a result of her amnesia, which would reflect more of her personality set up at the beginning of the story.
• Griffin was a successful businessman who was set up as a strong protector, so I didn’t find it believable that he left Juliet swinging in the wind over her career. Whether she wanted it or not, it was in her best interest that he protect her.
• Griffin was too wishy-washy. He might be falling in love. He is in love. Then back to starting to fall in love. If this is a semi-instalove story, the hero needs to be definite when sharing his feelings. If he’s not sure it’s love, then he needs to say something like, “I think I’m falling for you”, or “I can’t stop thinking about you”, before jumping into the “L” word and then taking it back. Denial is also a good tool.
• Some of the secondary characters had potential to be fully explored, and this was lacking. For example: Where had they been for the last ten years?
• The ending was nice but concluded too quickly with suddenly introduced therapy plans and no backstory.
This writer has a gift, so I have hope that future novels will be much better.

Oops, Big Mistake . . .
Juliet West is a prominent New York attorney. It’s not what she really wanted to do, but it brought in more money to help her dad pay the bills. She was preparing her case against Griffin Sterling, who was insanely attractive even though her paralegal Brooke told her it was against the rules of professional conduct to notice or mention that… or even think it! Juliet’s client, the Plaintiff, was Jenna Lancaster, Griffin’s ex-girlfriend. She was looking for $4 million in damages, but Juliet started to wonder if her client had made the entire story up or was at least withholding information.
On a break from trial, Griffin and Juliet both end up at the Hamptons to unwind. Even more of a shock, they are neighbors. They decided to make peace (or something better) and she woke up in his bed. Sneaking off to the bathroom, she tries on an engagement ring that was on the marble counter top and it gets stuck on her finger! Panicked, she sneaks out and drives away, getting into an accident as she tugged at her finger to remove the ring. When she wakes at the hospital, Griffin still on her confused mind, she assumes they became engaged! Will he tell her the truth? Or will Fate have another path for them to follow?

This is the 1st story in the Billionaire Beaus and this is a great story where Griffin a wealthy man is being sued by a former girlfriend and her lawyer, Juliet is one hot woman. When court is put on hold for 2 weeks they both take the chance to relax, Juliet to her house on the beach and Griffin to his 2nd home next door to Juliet’s! They are on opposite sides of the law and should not being speaking to one another let alone spending time together. When Griffin’s dog creates havoc Juliet decides to be nice and makes peace with Griffin and they end up spending the night together. The next day Juliet’s life is turned upside down from an accident ending up in the ER with no memory and believes she’s engaged to Griffin. Juliet has the belief that she was not happy prior to her accident and wants to live in the present and doesn’t care about losing her law license. Griffin has trouble with his part and the guilt takes it toll on him. This situation goes from one level of craziness to another and along the way they fall in love with one another until Juliet regains her memory and it all falls apart. This is a good story with lots of heat. I did spend most of the book wanting to shake Griffin, but was captivated by the writing.

After a hiatus of the trial, both Griffin and Juliet head to the Hamptons for a break. Unbeknownst to them, they are next door neighbors. When Griffin's dog leaves presents on her sidewalk, Juliet goes over to complain..and is surprised to see Griffin.
Instead of engaging in a feud, Juliet decides to act on her attraction to Griffin, but panics and runs after she tries on an engagement ring that gets stuck. While she is trying to remove the ring while driving, she is involved in an accident. Upon waking at the hospital, all she can remember is Griffin and thinks they are engaged.
The doctor tells Griffin not to cause Juliet any stress. Now what should he do??.

Juliet is a well to do Lawyer and has a case against Griffin. When the case is on break for a few days Juliet goes to her vacation place when she gets bad news at her doctor's appointment. Ironically, her neighbor happens to be Griffin and after a few bad days she makes a peace offering and things heat up between them. However, before she leaves, she finds a beautiful ring and tries it own. Panicking when it won't come back off she leaves. Not long after she is in an accident and wakes up with no memory. Griffin is shocked to get a call about Juliet and that people think that he is her fiancé. He takes her home to take care of her and then things get complicated. Will she lose her job because of what is happening between them? Can they find a way to be together?
This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This is a book in the Billionaire Beaus Series and my first read by this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the storyline and the characters. It is an enemies to lovers romance between attorney Juliet and defendant Griffin. It is a captivating love story with drama and steam, humor and charm, sexual tension and chemistry on every page. Add to that an interesting cast of supporting characters to keep the reader interested. It is a solid read all around with heart, heat and a bit of fate to orchestrate a happy ending.

In the book “Fake Fiancé Next Door” we have Griffin who is being sued by a former girlfriend. Juliet is his girlfriend’s lawyer. Juliet admires how handsome Griffin is but because they are on opposing sides they don’t interact. The case is postponed for 2 weeks and Juliet and Griffin decide to take a vacation. Unfortunately they wind up vacationing next door to each other. Sparks fly and then spend a steamy night together. The next day Juliet has an accident and loses her memory and believes that she is engaged to Griffin. This was a cute story. I loved the interactions between the main characters.

He is innocent but the trial is causing negative publicity for his company. When a judge calls for a two-week recess Griffin and Juliet find themselves next door to each other. The drama starts when Juliet has an accident and thinks that she is engaged to Griffin. This story had my emotions all over the place and cheering for Griffin and Juliet!

Juliet is a lawyer, Griffin is the billionaire that she is prosecuting on behalf of his ex with a claim he knows isn't true. There is a 2 week break in the case and they end up staying next to each other during their vacation.
They are both attracted to each other, but getting involved can affect the case so acting on their attraction is off the table, until Juliet is in an accident where she loses her memory and believes she is engaged to Griffin.

Juliet and Griffin are quite a pair! Adversaries in a lawsuit; she as the counsel for the plaintiff suing him and he as the defendant. But both are attracted to each other, though any idea of acting in that attraction is off limits!
But, Fate has a way of intervening!

This book will have you hooked from the beginning until the end and the storyline flowed throughout the book. Juliet is a lawyer and has a case against Griffen but when it becomes fake romance will it destroy her career? When her past comes back after an accident will they finally try to rob her blind? Great story with some surprises.

This is a really wonderful fast paced intriguing read. I devoured this story, it had my attention from the beginning to the ending..I won't giveaway any "spoilers"...as that takes the fun out of reading the book...SO...go ahead..I challenge you to read this amazing book!! You won't be disappointed!! It has drama, intrigue, mystery, romance, chemistry between Juliet and Griffin, lies, betrayal...steamy scenes...and surprises..😉...

This is the first in a new series and this is Griffin and Juliet’s story. Juliet is the lawyer hired to defend Griffin’s ex-girlfriend, and when she wakes up in hospital with amnesia, she thinks she is engaged to Griffin. This is a well written story with drama, emotions, romance, humor, witty banter, chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining page turner.

I enjoyed this book very much, it has a wonderfully engaging story of hate to love and back again, it’s well written and has a great story line. Juliet and Griffin are quite a pair, they are adversaries in a lawsuit, both are attracted to each other, though they are off limits to each other.

Check TW and CW. This story had me in its grip. I love a good enemies to lovers. Griffin and Juliet meet and sparks fly. You feel the tension. Something unfortunate happens to Juliet and we get to know more of her and Griffin.

Fake Fiancé Next Door” is a sexy surprise love story about a businessman, Griffin, and the lawyer, Juliet who is suing him for supposedly taking advantage of his ex girlfriend. Lots of twists and turns make this an excellent read. If you like your books sexy, exciting and different then this is one for you. Very enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

Juliet and Griffin found themselves in all kinds of legal issues. Her mom and sister were so trifling and Griffin was way nicer than I would have been in that situation!! There were so funny moments for sure but the colorful language was a no for me.

I really enjoyed this story. I sure wanted to take Griffin aside and ask what the heck are you doing? Are you even thinking? But at the same time I could see where he was coming from and even understand his point of view. So many crazy twists and turns in this story where you aren't sure where they will end up.

This story had it all. Love, deception with good intentions, but also learning to trust. Well written, grips you from the beginning and doesn't let go until the end. If you love romance and HEA's, this is the book for you!

This is my first Sia Wiley novel, and I wasn't disappointed. Delightfully hot and steamy. Great characters, and a well written storyline. Would recommend. Will read more from this author.

This was a fantastic read and you will not regret picking it up.
The blurb actually is spot on. There was lot of drama, humour and very spicy.
I loved both characters, Griffin and Juliet. They were very easy to connect with and feel the emotions with them.

This entertaining romance has drama, humor, love, engaging, genuine MCs, a crazy ex, and a lawsuit. The MCs are defined, likable, begin as adversaries, move onto being lovers, and back. I liked this book.

HEARTFELT
I have to be honest. I loved this book, but there were times when I had to stop reading and walk away from it.
You get so immersed in the characters’ lives that they become a part of you.

Apparently written by a teenager and not sufficiently researched or proofed properly. Need to research newborns and serious relationships. Could have been a good story if it had been researched and written more maturely.
