Few people outside of ECKANKAR have ever heard of the ECK-Vidya, the ancient science of prophecy, which is the modus operandi for delving into the past, present and future, used by the adepts of Ancient Order of Vairagi-this is the order of ECK Masters. It gives man much to think about, that he has a way to receive and give certain knowledge about one's self which is useful and valuable. Life is largely a struggle in which man employs the known in an effort to conquer the unknown. Everywhere people are endeavoring to predict the future for meeting it in a more prepared manner. The whole story of the ECK-Vidya is the penetration into the realms of the generally unknown areas, not yet explored by the psychics, scientists, mystics or saints. The ECK-Vidya involves the principle of the cycles of life. It is up to the individula to learn these subtle changes and to make the adjustment as they arise. The minor changes always affect the greater changes. So when one is able to recognize and handle the very smaller cycles within himself, then he is able to bring about control over his life in the inner which controls his whole universe, that which he carries with himself at all times. ECKANKAR, of itself, is the highest path to God. But in its own broad and comprehensive aspects are included thirty or more facets or spiritual works, such as prophecy, healing, self-realization, the deja-vu powers, siddhi (spiritual knowledge), omnipresence, making events happen for one's own future, to name a few. All these are carried on upon a higher spiritual level than those of the occult, metaphysical and religious teachings. The vibrations of anyone practicing the ECK-Vidya are so high that those on the lower psychic scale can never be compared with them.

About the author

When Paul Twitchell made Eckankar known to the modern world in 1965, he separated spiritual truths from the cultural trappings which had surrounded them. Average people could begin to experience the Light and Sound of God while still living a happy, steady, and productive life.

Paul Twitchell was born in Kentucky in the early part of the twentieth century and served in the US Navy during the Second World War.

A seeker from an early age, he was introduced to a group of spiritual Masters who would change the course of his life. These were the Vairagi ECK Masters. While they trained Paul to become the Living ECK Master, he explored a wide range of spiritual traditions under different teachers. The high teachings of ECK had been scattered to the four corners of the world. Paul gathered these golden teachings of Light and Sound and made them readily available to us.

It was these God experiences he chronicled in his book, The Tiger's Fang. Paul Twitchell eventually joined the Vairagi Order and was given the task of bringing Eckankar to the world. He became the Living ECK Master.

By 1965, Paul was giving Soul Travel workshops in California and offering discourses on the teachings of Eckankar. A community of ECKists began to grow. In 1970, Eckankar was established as a nonprofit religious organization. Paul Twitchell died in 1971, but not before he initiated many into the ECK teachings.

The present-day Living ECK Master is Sri Harold Klemp. He continues to give new life to the age-old spiritual teachings of ECK. (www.Eckankar.org)

I found this book mysteriously among millions of books in a University library. As soon as I began to read it I began to have fantastic Supernatural types of experiences & synchronicities. This book changed my life & I am forever grateful for whoever put this book into the CSLBU Library and I'm so happy that I found it for I am still in Eckankar today experiencing miracles beyond belief. Studying this incredible Spiritual path has changed my life 100% for the better & has brought me many miracles, much growth, many 'coincidences' & so many wonderful Spiritual experiences.
