Oh man -- are kids going to be disappointed when they go to school and it's nothing like this.

There is an entire page before the story describing a bit about how the series was made, including a warning to not try and do anything like this with your own cat. Bonus star for the warning ... but clearly, some of these cats and kittens were not happy being a model for this extremely tacky series. There are photos of cats crying and flattening their ears.

Just look at the expressions of the kittens on the cover. They clearly are planning to do serious damage to the photographer.

The art (and photo-cropping) that went into this book was remarkable, but the cat's expressions have put me off the rest of the series.

NOTE: There have been similar series done with dogs and guinea pigs, but those species are far more tolerant of being supermodels.

I am forever impressed and astonished by the author/illustrators ability to dress these cats up in suits.
