Ella loves her kitten, Fluff, and worries about her going missing again. But Fluff is enchanted by being outside, especially when it starts snowing and she has the pretty snowflakes to play with. But suddenly a blizzard sets in and Fluff loses her way. Will Ella ever be reunited with her kitten?
Holly Webb is one of Britain's best-loved children's writers. She has written over a hundred books for children, and her work has been translated into over thirty languages. Holly lives in Tilehurst, just outside of Reading, Berkshire, with her husband, three children and several cats.
Fluff is an explorer and enjoys frolicking amongst the falling snowflakes. But as the snow continues, it makes the world look different and Fluff can't find her way back home. She takes refuge in an abandoned house and while there she meets a tiny kitten in distress. Fluff's mothering instincts take over and she does all she can to care for the helpless kitten.
I didn't learn until after I read this that it is the sequel to Lost in the Snow but it made no difference as it stands alone just fine. Fluff's natural instincts to rescue and protect make this an endearing read for sympathetic souls.
Tai "Pasiklydusi sniege" tęsinys. Tai lyg antras tomas. Šį kartą Pūkė jau paaugusi pradeda tyrinėti lauką ir netyčia pasiklysta viduryje pūgos. Elė išsigandusi su tėvais ima jos ieškoti kol ji sau miega apleistame name, kuriame randa netikėtą dalyką!
My six-year old got this from a Scholastic book order for $1.00, and I thought it was going to be torture to read out-loud to her. But it was pleasantly enjoyable to read. It's a simple story about a kitten who gets lost in the snow, and discovers an abandoned kitty while she is lost. When I asked my daughter what she liked about it, she said she liked that it ended happy.
A bit better than other books in the series probably as a result of the fact that human characters are featured much less and the focus is on the adventures of the cat. I have the vague impression that these books were written on command cause there's not much joy or creativity in them.
Holly wood wrote this story about a kitty. I liked all the detail on it beacsue it madethe story more interesting. I also like when the kitten got lost and went in the old shack type thing and found the other kitten and they had so much detail i could see the picyure in my head. I dilike how the kitten gets lost in a storm. I loved this book i am glad i read it.
Fluff is back and as the title suggests she gets lost again. This time she has a different battle on her hand. One of life or death.
The book plays out well and has some nice touches. It is a perfect bedtime book to read to a younger child and a good reading exercise for a slightly older one.
My favorite part was when fluff rescued snowy just in time.the worst part was when fluff found snowy alone, weak, and starving.the best character was fluff and Ella.the worst character was whoeverleft snowy behind with no food or water.Auryn 9 year old
Miela ir pūkuota knygelė visoms ir visiems mažiesiems kačių mylėtojams :) Įdomiai ir netikėtai suregzta jautri istorija. Jaunajai 6-erių klausytojai labai patiko, tikrai rekomenduojam!
Read with my daughter. She enjoyed it but said it was very similar to Holly Webb’s other books. However she thoroughly enjoyed me reading it to her at bedtime and thought Fluff was a brave and very cute kitten
Cudowny powrót do dzieciństwa. Książki Holly Webb były jednymi z pierwszych książek jakie samodzielnie przeczytałam. Jeśli ktoś ma dzieci (zwłaszcza dziewczynkę) bardzo polecam pokazać jemu tą serię.
