This is a seriously wild ride, involving, among other things, sexy calendars, ghosts, dogs, pigs and a ham thief…

There are a few parts that really don’t age well (the Sheriff is also in charge or the town’s taxes and his cousin is the mayor, a rather icky concentration of power).

Dana and Jake experience a case of instalove that nevertheless seems rather believable. It’s made quite clear that he is prepared to take no for an answer, and the one situation in which he doesn’t want to should cure him for life :D

The third act has both an action scene with the piece’s villain that starts out quite dramatic but ends rather funnily – and a breakup due to his offended sensibilities…

Dana then discovers the town’s big secret, which the Ladies’ Club had used in order to control the town – and it’s simply too good, particularly in combination with the ham thief subplot!

The HEA sees them married – and the town run by a new female mayor ;)
