This comic was anything but entertaining. I found out after I read it that there is a series to it. that's why I didn't quite understand it. I'm not familiar with the books or series, my friend picked it out for me and I just decided to read it. It was funny.. at times, and the only reason was because I found the idea of the book so... weird! After I was done with the book I questioned how the author even thought of such an idea, what an imagination. I recommend if you want to read the book, read the books that come before so you have background knowledge and you're able to understand.
This comic (based from what I understood) is basically about these group of friends. One of them, a teenage girl is abnormal... and has super powers. In the book once you become an adult, you become violent and evil, (and get super powers as well) and like to harm/kill kids but the adults' (who are obviously parents as well) violence is hidden from their own children. None of the children know about their parents until this book, when they find out. The abnormal girl has enough power to defeat the adults. The book came to an end when the children hid inside a cave from their parents. (There was a reason, but that reason was very unclear to me)

The Runaways: Marvel Age, Vol. 6: The Hostel is graphic novel written by Brian K. Vaughan and it is one out of many. I didn't realize that there were other volumes to this series until I finished reading the novel. In the beginning of the book there is a short eulogy that helps you understand the what is going on in each volume. Volume 6 was based around the children in the novel trying to catch their parents in their illicit activities. Their parents are framing them so that they are blamed for the murders. The whole book is about the children running after their parents and the obstacles they endure. This book confused me because I didn't read the volumes before so I didn't enjoy it that much.

Runaways: The Hostel
By Brian K. Vaughan

The book Runaways is all about the group of "super hero kids" with evil villains as parents. They are framed for there parents murders and run away and hide in a cave. The story was all over the place and very confusing, this may be because I think this book is part of a series. But I honestly didn't enjoy reading it.

Although this book wasn't my favorite the artist did a very good job at the art work. The characters weren't described at all so having pictures was very helpful.

I would recommend this book to people who have read the series or are interested in super heroes and villains but other than that I didn't enjoy reading this book, I found it boring and couldn't wait to finish.

I read this not knowing it was part 6. However, with the brief synopsis at the beginning, it wasn't bad at all. This seems like a really good, albeit a bit short, series for kids. The art is nice, and the story is interesting enough. An adult could read the entire series in an hour.

Ahora que veo que esto tiene sólo 24 páginas ni sé si es un capítulo suelto o si es algún especial que creo haber leído pero no estoy seguro. Cuando lo corrobore, actualizo.

It was interesting, I liked that we got to start seeing a little more backround and the kids powers showed through more.

this book is just a single episode, very short and it reiterates previous books. still love the story and the art.

Me da en la nariz que van a empezar a tirar de tópicos... pero bueno, de momento lo voy disfrutando mucho. Me están entreteniendo, que es el objetivo que tenía cuando empecé a leérmelos :)
