Brassada Hill

Rate this book
ven though he was a deputy United States marshal, Jud Brannigan really couldn't do too much to the men in the posse which had trailed and killed young Billy. For the latter had killed a woman and was generally considered a disgrace to the region. Yet the marshal could not help feeling compassion and acceding to the dying boy's wish that he be buried on Brassada Hill even though it meant defying a whole town.
