This book is probably better for older children who are potty training - my 20 month old daughter wasn’t that interested but I did like how clear and instructive it is with real children as examples. The stickers and chart I feel will come in handy later in our potty training journey as we are only in the very early stages at the moment so this is a book she’ll probably grow into!

another book that helped reinforce potty training when my daughter was trained at 27 months old.

I'm going to get another book for potty training.
They had a girl going shopping to pick out her own underwear - I bought some for my daughter, so she only gets to pick from the pack I bought.

It has a girl picking out her own potty- well, some people pick out a trainer for the toilet seat instead of a seperate toddler toilet. OR they pick one for their toddler.

The concept of the girls teddy bear picking out his/her own seat and putting her teddy bear on the potty is weird. I understand that she is showing her teddy by example, but it was stretching it for me. My daughter has a doll and not a teddy bear. She might not be able to relate to the teddy bear (or toy using the potty and scrubbing his "hands".

This one isn't as great- it's mostly about choosing a potty and then puts Teddy on the potty instead of the little girl- plus some of the pages make it seem like you are supposed to wash your hands before using the potty- which I guess isn't bad if you wash them after as well, but still.. but Finley does like the stickers (of course again, she hasn't gotten one because she hasn't used the potty) but she seems them and says potty stickers so I guess she is getting the idea?

It is nice that it has pictures of real girls using the potty. Kids do gravitate towards real kids instead of drawings.

Someone was little, but not a baby. And then she was a big girl. And she used the potty. She did that when she was a big girl.

Pros:well written and laid out serves it's purpose and the use of teddy is excellent.
cons: pity the books need gender seperation
