Coal Cracker Anecdotes: Growing Up In Pennsylvania's Coal Regions In The 40's & 50's

Rate this book
A semi-fictitious narrative of interesting and biographical incidents about growing up in the Coal Regions of Eastern Pennsylvania during the 1940's and 1950's. It is not intended to be a history lesson of the region; rather it is intended to document amusing and informative anecdotes of the times. It travels back to a time when we were electronically challenged and spending quality time with families and friends was a way of life. We truly enjoyed each others company and we looked forward to being with family and friends. It was a time when people never locked their front doors. It was a time when you looked forward to visiting family and friends as you were always greeted with open arms and your hosts always had a great meal ready for you. It was wonderful time and place to grow up...............
