A mysterious bandaged stranger in an English village turns out to be a mad scientist, who has discovered how to turn himself invisible and plans to take over the world
Read what happened to Jack Griffin in 1933. It was snowing, a stranger arrives at the inn, where's Dr Griffin, there's nothing under the bandages, Kemp meets the invisible man who tells his story, how do you capture an invisible man?, his revenge and the ultima ratio that death is the only cure. One of the best mad scientist movies ever. Here you find all the essential stills and the story retold in a brilliant manner. Highly recommended!
I think before I got into Choose Your Own Adventures, I read almost every single book in the Crestwood Movie Monsters series in my elementary school library (and I requested even more from other libraries). Yeah, even The Blob and Frankenstein vs. Wolfman. A couple of weird things about these books, which were basically pictures from 1970s monster movies with minimal text in them:
1.) I didn't, and still don't, like or even particularly care about "horror" or monster movies. I loved these books for some reason, though.
2.) I guess these are now semi-antiques, at least on the internet, where you can find them listed on some 80s nostalgia sites. It's a cliche, but that makes me feel old.
