Muntz, writing at te tail end of the 19th century, offers a detailed analysis of Leonardo da Vinci: the man and his work with plenty of illustrations.
Muntz uses the works themselves as his primary 'go to' as well as other historical documents including the work of Giorgio Vasari who was one of Leonardo's contemporaries.
Leonardo was a true Renaissance Man whose interests spanned many, many fields and subjects.
