About the author

Matt Doeden was born in southern Minnesota and lived parts of his childhood in Golden Valley, Minnesota, and Madison, Minnesota. He studied journalism at Mankato State University, where he worked at the college newspaper for three years. In his senior year, he served as the paper's Sports Editor, which put him in charge of the entire sports section, the sports writers, and the photographers. He covered mostly college sports, but also the Minnesota Vikings, who held training camp at MSU.

His work allowed him to meet and interview people like Dennis Green, Cris Carter, Robert Smith, and more. Matt went on to work as a sports writer for the Mankato paper, and then he got a job as an editor with a small children's publisher called Capstone Press, and in 2003 he decided to start his own business as a freelance writer and editor.

Since then, Matt has written and edited hundreds of books. Lots of them are on high-interest topics like cars, sports, and airplanes. He also writes and edits on geography, science, and even math.

This is a non fiction book about the life of Tom Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots. I would recommend this book with understanding that it is not the most recent book about his life as so much as happened in the past year. You get a clear understanding of the work ethic that Tom has and the dedication he shares with his teammates.

This gave me a lot of info on Tom Brady. I knew he was a low pick in the NFL draft, now he's the best QB in the NFL. I think the author wants you to know to keep trying to get better. I would say people who like football should read this book. If you don't like football then don't read it. I've never knew all the things about Tom. I know that he has won 5 NFL Superbowls. One more and he'll have the most ever. Also that he has won 4 Superbowl MVP's. I think Tom Brady will win another Superbowl to have the record.

The book that I read was Tom Brady by Matt Doeden. This book was about a young man named Tom Brady and his adventure to becoming as some know, the greatest football player of all time. Tom grew up and went to the University of Michigan. He was then one of the last picks in the NFL draft because he was shown to be very unathletic coming out of college. It shows his journey from the bottom to starting for the Patriots and winning many super bowls.
I would recommend the book and give it a 4/5 star rating. I think that anyone who likes sports, especially football, will like this book. Also, anyone who likes good stories of people who never gave up on their dreams then they will like this book. I did like the book because it was very interesting and inspiring to others. There wasn't much that I didn't like but it didn't really go into detail a lot it was kind of a basic storyline.

I give my book out of 5 starts a 4. It was very good and it lived up to my expectations. I really enjoyed reading it. The setting was on the football field where Tom Brady plays all his games. He is the main character too because the book is about his life as a child till now. The story follows Tom Brady as he carried the New England patriots to glory six times. I discovered this book when I was in the Attleboro high school library looking for a book to read. What I really like about it is how I learned facts about my favorite football player ever. I was sad when he tore his acl i thought his career was over but then he came back better than ever and just a few years later won a superbowl. The book teaches you to never give up no matter what. I would read another book by this author because i like sports non fiction books and he writes those.
