A re-read by Neo, using his 'read-along' audiobook discovery!

A very short chapter book about a set of cows who try to save the Easter Bunny tradition for the farmer's grandchildren. Many animals are asked to help, though none seem to rush out. In the end, it is a surprise for all, especially the children. Neo asked why anyone would be the Easter Bunny other than the actual titled entity? *crickets chirping* Ummm.... "let's get to those chores now, Neo!" ;)

So apparently it's a thing about roosters being self-centered and lazy. I kinda like Elvis, but I kinda like Charles from the Freddy the Pig novels (1st is Freddy Goes to Florida) more.

This is a humorous book in the Minnie and Moo series by Denys Cazet.

Minnie and Moo find out that the farmer doesn't want to wear the Easter Bunny suit for the children's party. So they try to enlist the aid of the other farm animals to fill in for him. Silliness ensues. It's a cute story to read aloud with younger children. We've read this one a couple of times.
