Kasper Ridge #4

Only a Touch

Rate this book
I’ve got a plan to get out of this tiny town and off to the adventure I’ve been dreaming of. I’m just missing one tiny thing to pull this plan off… a boyfriend.

I’ve been running the Kasper Ridge Guides and Gear shop since after high school. And for a long time, it’s been enough. But when I final in a contest to win the adventure of a lifetime, I’m ready to head out and see the world outside this tiny Colorado town.

The only problem? My inside source says the contest organizers want to give the prize to a couple. And I’m decidedly single.

Luckily, I’ve become good friends with Travis, a ridiculously handsome, intimidatingly large former fighter pilot. He’s unavailable in every sense of the word. Or at least that’s what I think…until we kiss in a moment of passion I never expected. And then suddenly, leaving town doesn’t seem like such a great plan.

Pretending to be in love with Travis isn’t hard, and the cameras following us around for the week capture some footage that make it look it’s not too hard for him, either.

But then an “unresolved issue” from Travis’s past shows up at the resort and reminds me exactly why I don’t date tall, gorgeous men in the first place.

I'm USA Today Bestselling author Delancey Stewart. My contemporary romances run the gamut of settings and setups, but they always deliver humor, heart and heat. It's a guarantee.

I write from my home in Denver, CO, where I manage a household full of boys and men. Okay, only one man. The hubs. But two boys. I mean, three if you count the hubs. (You see why I do words and not numbers. I was told there'd be no math in this bio. Someone lied.)

I grew up in California and have had more jobs than anyone on earth (personal trainer, pharmaceutical rep, copywriter, tech writer, marketing director, wine seller, elementary school teacher... I'm not kidding. The list. It goes on.) But the one I love the most is writing, in part because I get to meet people who love books and stories as much as I do! Only a Touch is Perry’s 4th and most recent addition to her Kasper Ridge series but with a few unattached characters still remaining, I’m certain it won’t be her last. This is a fake to real boyfriend trope involving Cecelia or CeeCee owner operator of Kasper Ridge Gear and Guides who has been a secondary character in each book since the first book in this series and Travis “Sasquatch” who was introduced in the last book in the series, Only A Secret as one of the many former Navy fighter pilots who have come to Kasper Ridge to help their buddy, Archie “Ghost” Kasper and his sister Aubrey return the rundown Kasper Ridge Resort they inherited from their late Great Uncle Marvin to its former glory.
Over the past six or so months CeeCee and Travis have become friends. Travis has had a secret crush on CeeCee the beautiful strawberry blonde with the athletic body since the moment he laid eyes on her. CeeCee for her part thinks the massive Travis is handsome but never allowed herself to believe they could be more than friends. CeeCee hasn't had any luck in the romance department. Then CeeCee decides to enter a television contest for the best guide operation in the U.S. The prize is $50,000 that will allow her to improve and expand her business and a free trip to anywhere in the world her heart desires which will allow her to discover a part of the world outside of Kasper Ridge. The problem is on her application which she submitted a year ago she indicated she had a boyfriend/partner because the show was looking to feature couples. Her thought was that if she ever made it to the finalist round she had a year to find a boyfriend. Except, now she’s a finalist and there’s no boyfriend in sight. So of course she asks Travis to play her fake boyfriend for a week while the show’s camera crew was in town to film her operation. Travis isn’t certain he can spend that much time in close proximity to CeeCee without revealing his true feelings. Which he can’t reveal for reasons we’ll discover later in this story. But Travis is the kind of guy who is always ready to pitch in and lend a hand, so how can he refuse CeeCee? The more time CeeCee spends with the good natured giant who makes her feel cared for and safe unlike anyone else ever has, the more her feelings begin to mirror his. But there’s that pesky secret of Travis’s that keeps holding him back. Until CeeCee’s desire pushes him to the point he no longer can. Travis tries several times to reveal his secret to CeeCee before they do something they’ll regret but circumstances and CeeCee’s own urgent desires push him over the line before he can reveal his secret. Which is then revealed to CeeCee and the television crew in the most startling and spectacular fashion. This of course throws cold water on their budding romance and sends them both into deep funk. Guess what happens then!
I liked the CeeCee character. I guess I have a soft spot for beautiful, sexy strong, independent women with a vulnerable spot. But Travis was really the far more interesting character of the two. He suffered from PTSD which was why he got himself a service dog in the form of Roscoe. It really didn’t take all that long to figure out the secret he’d been hiding. But understanding why he felt like a loser who screwed up everything he touched eluded me for the entire book. College graduate, fighter pilot, war hero, loyal friend, I just didn’t get it? Most of the gang from the previous books made brief appearances in this story but none of them except Roscoe, Travis’s service dog really played much of a role in this story. At some point Brainiac and Penny did get married but the author chose not to put that in her books. Not certain whether Monroe and Mateo were married in this book. Despite the likable characters I only found this to be a good but not great story.

Full of passion, sweetness, acceptance and healing

I really enjoyed Travis and CeeCee’s fake relationship with a side of healing. The story is filled with all the emotions, the connections and the love. This book definitely gave me all the feels especially through Travis (Sasquatch). I am a sucker for damaged bruised heroes especially ones like Travis who are a little wounded and in need of healing. CeeCee owns an adventure company in Kasper Ridge. She’s a finalist in a contest with a prize that will allow her to realize her dream of adventure traveling. The only problem is she invented a boyfriend when she entered the contest a year ago. Enter her friend Travis, who is secretly in love with her, so of course he agrees to be her fake boyfriend. But real feelings and real life issues quickly complicate a simple favor. It is such a sweet and heart warming emotional journey as Travis and CeeCee follow the inevitable path to being together and unpack their individual baggage. Both of them are portrayed as real, relatable people who have flaws, but are just really trying to do their best as messy fallible humans. The book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, steamy scenes, strong friendships, laughs, painful pasts, a bit of mystery, secrets, mild drama, and all the sweet love. The book was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline. I am still enjoying the overarching mystery plot in this series about searching for the treasure.

A fabulous romance filled with laughter, family (chosen kind), personal growth, light angst, and the cutest descent into happily ever after

Highly recommend

I adored Travis (our slightly damaged hero). He was everyone's go-to guy. You know the one you turned to when you needed help. In this case a temporary boyfriend.
He was everyone's rock - except his own.
He had a vulnerability to him that called to me - I wanted to hug him and squeeze him - remind him of his worth

CeeCee was a character. She was just so balls to the wall most of the time. Constantly side-stepping but not. Hard to explain, wait until you meet her it will make more sense. Couldn't help but like her.

These two were the quintessential couple. What started as a friend helping a friend became so much more. The development of their relationship was flawless. Nothing felt forced - the laughter, the little side eyes, the steamy moments - the comfort and eventual realization that they were destined for each other
There is a bit of angst, some silent tear moments as well as some heart-pounding moments
This is one of those that the characters will stay with me long after I close the pages

Only a Touch is a nice addition to the Kasper Ridge series.

Travis and CeeCee are friends, and he agrees to help her compete in a contest that is for couples. Despite the fake beginnings to their relationship it doesn't take long for it to become much more real. This story is definitely emotional with some sweet moments, and I liked the two of them together quite a bit.

I haven't read the other books in the series, but after picking this one up I can't wait to check them out.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

Only a Touch is book 4 in the Kasper Ridge world, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with these characters.

I recommend reading this series in order to have the best reading experience. Travis is definitely a compelling man, full of many attractive attributes, but those come with some big complications. I enjoyed CeeCee, her business and her drive.

This storyline is very entertaining and I found myself attached to this couple's journey to their HEA.

This author consistently provides engaging and creative stories that are steamy and easy to connect with. I recommend reading this series and this author's catalog of books.

Can I read it again?
You know how you find a book that just works? This is that book, and what a delight to read.
Travis…oh, boy, you’ll love him so much, he’s got a gorgeous soul and he is one of those people who helps others. He is damaged and love him
Cee Cee is a very hard worker and the way these two find their love…it’s just enjoyable

5 star read for this one! You won’t be disappointed!

4.5⭐ Another enjoyable book in this series, honestly they're all fabulous. This one definitely had some twists and turns I was not expecting. I'm really enjoying this series, it's possibly my favorite that is solo written.

I adored Travis. I have from the very first moment we met him. Learning about the thoughts and feelings that have plagued him, nearly broke my heart. I’m not sure what it was about CeeCee, but even though I loved her most of the time, I still had my “meh” moments with her. Particularly when her nose was all out of joint for him not telling her something that she stopped him from telling her. Hrmph! Okay, mini rant over. Other than that particular incident that made me want to rip clumps of hair from my head, I really enjoyed watching these two. I especially enjoyed seeing Travis open up his mind and heart to the possibility that he was more than he was letting himself be (and see). Now that we also have another clue to the treasure hunt, I can’t wait to see what’s coming next.

This book hits all the marks when it comes to a great romance. It has a hero who captures your imagination and attention. Travis is big, muscular, and a great big teddy bear at heart. Unfortunately, he has some demons that he carries around after his time in the military that he struggling to both contain and hide. He is often tortured by self doubt and feelings of failure too. He is also secretly in love with the heroine, CeeCee. Travis readily agrees to CeeCee’s plan for them to act as a couple in order to win a dream vacation. He hopes to show her that they would be great together and to make their pretend relationship real.

CeeCee is hardworking, loyal, stubborn and determined to finally get a chance to travel the world. She loves adventure and wants more for herself than just staying in one place. She invented a boyfriend when she entered the contest a year ago and no that she has a chance to win, she needs a boyfriend. Travis comes to mind because they are already good friends and she feels comfortable with him. When he agrees to her plan, she is thrilled and just a bit nervous. She has struggled with her attraction to him in the past and hopes it won’t derail their fake relationship. Their fake relationship soon leads to all sorts of new feelings, seeing different sides of each other and exposes some secrets. Their story is entertaining, emotional and entrancing. There are a few twists that make their story much more captivating.

I loved Travis and CeeCee’s fake relationship in Only a Touch by Delancey Stewart, book four in the Kasper Ridge series, an emotional, heartwarming, charming, entertaining tale, filled with passion, sweetness, acceptance, and healing. Travis (aka Sasquatch) agrees to help CeeCee with her adventure contest, turning their friendship into a relationship in order to increase her chances at winning. Turns out, pretending to be in love is the least of their concerns. Full of laughter, passion, and a loving self-trained service dog named Roscoe, these two face their insecurities and demons. Just when they are ready for more, a surprise threatens to destroy everything Travis and CeeCee have built. Another clue to the mysterious treasure hunt, running throughout this series is revealed; as the gang gets closer to solving it.

Ms. Stewart wrote an emotional, wonderful, heartwarming romance that kept me turning the pages as I followed the twist and turns as Travis and CeeCee’s fake relationship developed into a real one. She provided a tale rich with a little bit of everything: magnetic attraction, sizzling chemistry, clever banter, the magic of friends, and a colorful cast of secondary characters; giving Travis and CeeCee a chance at love, happiness, and a future both deserved. I highly recommend Only a Touch to other readers and I look forward to the next story in this series, hoping for more clues regarding the treasure hunt.

This is my first book in the series and it's obvious that there are some parts that would make a bit more sense if I had read the prior books. However, for the most part, this book works well as a standalone. The group of friends the series centers on are interesting characters, so I'm going to go back and read the rest of them now that I've read this one.

Travis (aka Sasquatch or Sas) is an endearing character with a really sweet personality. He seems to struggle a lot with self-doubt, despite the fact that he seems to be good at everything he touches - including baking wedding cakes!

CeeCee is a hard-working woman with a very active job and some big dreams, which lead her to tell a big lie! Lucky for her, Sas has been admiring her from afar so it's not a hard sell for him to pretend to be her boyfriend. And even better for both of them, their adventures while pretending show them that they could have something real that would be pretty awesome.

There is a "misunderstanding" - not spoilers here - about a fairly important detail that Sas forgot to mention. But when they smooth that over, they are on the road to a really great HEA that includes many future adventures together.

Dang it! I started this series out of order. Sigh. I'm not sure if it really mattered all that much, but maybe? I feel like I could’ve made more of a connection with Travis and CeeCee if I had known some of the background between all the “brothers” that have settled in Kasper Ridge. How much of a difference? I have no idea.

CeeCee is on her way out of town, well, she’s making plans to make it happen and she’s just gotten word that her first step is a go. She has been chosen to be a contestant in a reality show featuring adventure packages. If she wins, she gets funding to go on her own dream adventure. Africa…here she comes! But wait, there’s one teeny-tiny problem. She’s supposed to have a boyfriend that runs her adventure business with her. They are a great team. Umm, well they would be. If he actually existed. Just as she’s explaining this to her best friend, she sees someone walk into the bar (no that’s not the start of a joke).

Enter Travis. This starts off as a typical fake relationship, but there are some definite twists. Learning them was fun. Was I totally blown away by this book? No, but I was entertained through the whole thing. I think I’ll go back to book one, I would like to know about these characters.

*** 3.5 ⭐️ ***

Trigger warnings: close proximity/fake dating, PTSD, adultery.

This is my least favourite book in the series, unfortunately. The MMC (Travis, “Sasquatch”) is portrayed as a bumbling oaf with a heart of gold, which is harped on at every turn, while placing his worst qualities (of inadequacy and inferiority) at the forefront of any description or explanation into his thought/feeling process. Everything he does and every move he makes is overshadowed by thoughts of failure and feelings of worthlessness, no matter how minor the situation.

The FMC (CeeCee) is a little more likeable in that she’s sweet and pure of heart, which compliments Travis’ strive to be “better.” Even though she initiated the fake dating theme, she came to realize that not everything was truly being faked.

Unfortunately, the grammar, spelling, punctuation, tense, coherent and complete sentences, and continuity errors (based on information from previous books in the series) took away from the reading experience and, as much as I love getting to know all these wonderfully flawed characters, the flow was just interrupted too much in this book to care about this particular storyline.

You are worthy of being chosen, fought for, and loved...

Kasper Ridge is my happy place. This is the 4th book in the series and my favorite so far. There is so much depth to the characters Travis and CeeCee. They spoke to me. CeeCee had dreams of leaving the small town where she was raised to seek an experience outside of her comfort zone. An opportunity for this becomes available to her and she goes for it. There is one drawback however, she needs to find a fake boyfriend and fast.

Travis is a gentle giant who believes he is worthless and not deserving. So untrue. The man was a fighter pilot and is definitely valued highly by his friends and family. He has loved CeeCee since he can remember, but has kept their relationship in the friend zone. When she asks him for a favor, he immediately agrees. He would do anything for her. As their ruse of being girlfriend and boyfriend unravels, he finds himself struggling with the need to tell her how he truly feels.

This is a deeply emotional and genuine story filled with romance and passion. It left me with a sense of hope and optimism. A notable mention to Roscoe who is a service dog who assists Travis with his PTSD.

I know there wouldn’t be any more books to read but when will folks realize that **not** sharing important info always gets you in trouble??? I loved Travis, or Sasquatch as most folks call him. I love that he trained his own dog, Roscoe, to be a service-like companion, a support dog, a best friend, and (in Travis’s own words) his lookout. They make a great team.

Ceecee and Travis have been dancing around one another for a while but neither one is really confident enough to stand up and declare that. Ceecee is great. She is strong, has a head for her adventure outfitter and guide business, but is still a wee bit lonely. She and Travis are just broken enough that these two together? A combustible pair!

Ceecee gets Travis to help her try to win a contest, and he agrees, but both are keeping secrets. I loved Travis a wee bit more than Ceecee as I have a soft spot for this group of friends. And we get to visit with this group of friends for a bit – the wedding where everyone helps out? OMG, hilarious – sometimes in a cringe-worthy way.

Great read. Great fun. Great dog! And great (military) friends who are family.

Only a Touch is the fourth book in the Kasper Ridge series. While each book can be read as a standalone, I think they are better if they are read in order. Archie Kasper (Ghost) and his sister have inherited Kasper Ridge Resort in Colorado along with clues to a hidden treasure from their eccentric great-uncle, Marvin. He and his sister are trying to renovate the resort with the help of his former Navy pilot friends. This is Travis and CeeCee’s story.
CeeCee entered into a contest for a reality adventure show but lied about her entry and told them she had a boyfriend. So now she must find someone to play the part of her boyfriend if she wants a chance at winning. Travis was attracted to CeeCee but too afraid to act upon it until she needed a fake boyfriend. Can he win CeeCee before his secret gets revealed?
I enjoyed seeing all the characters again and catching up with them. I have really enjoyed this series and the suspense of their treasure hunt is killing me. The treasure hunt was a small part of this book but it was enough to flag my curiosity. I cannot wait for the next book!

I seriously LOVED Only a Touch, with all it's fake relationship goodness. CeeCee owns her own adventure company in Kasper Ridge, but there's no significant other in her life. She entered a contest that will give her the dream of adventure traveling, but turns out, the winners of said contest are usually coupled up so now CeeCee needs to get a plus one. Travis has some demons from the past that he needs to heal from, and yet he definitely was okay with becoming CeeCee's fake boyfriend when she needed him , but honestly, it's only fake on paper as the sparks are flying, and it's only a matter of time before they ignite. These two are definitely perfect for each other in all of their imperfections, and I loved how realistic it all felt as I experienced their journey along side of them. There's a ton of goodness in this story with the sweet with heat, humor, pasts that need healing, some drama with angst, and even a twist or two so yeah, I had a great time & HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

4/5 ⭐
2/5 🌶️

I just love this series so much. Travis/Sasquatch and CeeCee were no exception. I absolutely loved their fake dating, mutual pining tropes and couldn't get enough of them.

This one was a little heavier then the rest of the series with Travis' PTSD, but it wasn't dark by any means. I loved that it brought Roscoe, the cutest support pup around, into the story too. He was an adorable side character.

I really loved both Travis and CeeCee. I'm always a sucker for when the guy falls first and Travis has been secretly pining for CeeCee for ages. When she proposes a fake relationship for the cameras, he knows he should decline to save his heart, but he can't turn her down. CeeCee didn't even see it coming, and watching her slowly fall head over heels for Travis was so cute, I loved it.

I'm not sure who's up next in Kasper Ridge, but I'm one hundred percent here for it. I can't get enough of this group of friends.

Travis/Sasquatch and CeeCee have known each other for a while as friends, but Travis has always wanted more. CeeCee is trying to win a reality show contest to improve the profile of her adventure company as well as have some money to see some of the world she is longing to see and escape her small town for a while. Travis is hiding out in this small town, helping his military buddy revitalize the ski resort he inherited. Things in his life make Travis feel like he is not worthy of someone like her. But when she asks him to be her fake boyfriend for the show, he immediately agrees and they find themselves not pretending.

I loved both characters, and Roscoe, Travis’s dog that he trained to be a therapy dog to help with his PTSD. I have read all the other books in this series. This could work as a stand alone but is much better if you read in sequence. There is a mystery about a treasure that weaves through all the books.

I read an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I really enjoyed this small town fake relatiinship romance by Delancey stewart.
It is Travis and Ceecee's story.
Ceecee wants to leave her small town of Kasper Ridge and see other places. When she enters a contest which will allow her dreams to come true and is chosen as one of the finalists she is exited.
The catch the contest is for couples. She needs to find a fake boyfriend for a week while the camera crews follow her around for a week.
She asks her friend Travis to prerend to be her boyfriend. There is chemistry between them, but Travis does not do relationships.
They start to get close, then Travis past catches up to them. They di get get their happily ever after once they get through the obstacles in their path.
A great story with love,laughter,emotions,angst,
friends and a happily ever after.

"If we're supposed to be together, we probably shouldn't jump away from each other if we accidentally touch."
He had a point, but I wasn't sure that part of our lie would be so easy to fake. His warm hands on my shoulders offered something more than just comfort, and if I was being honest, having his big rough palms on the skin of my arms was doing something to my stomach too.

CeeCee knew this was fake, but it sure felt like it could be real. Maybe that was just wishful thinking. Travis is even more wonderful than she realized. Now how can she not fall for him during this fake relationship?

Travis has things in his life that he hasn't shared with anyone. Now he's getting more involved with CeeCee and knows he needs to come clean. But will he before things blow up? Likely not - that would make the story boring!

This is a great story. Perfect addition to this wonderful series!

This was a fake relationship and friends to lovers Trope.
The 4th book in this series.

Ceecee is from a small town and she has big dreams of adventuring out in the world.

Travis is an ex fighter pilot and has his own damaging baggage.

When Ceecee enters a competition, she is one of the finalists and has a chance to win a life long dream of adventure.
But the prize is for a couple and she is single. So she decides to ask her friend Travis. He jumps at the offer of being in a fake relationship because deep down he has feelings for her.
Things start to blur and are they actually acting in front of the cameras or is the sizzling connection real?
Can they win without getting caught?
Can they overcome all these past obstacles thrown at them and actually have a HEA?

Give it a read and find out. This was a fun book to read. There was a lot of humour, drama, heartbreak, emotional and hot moments.
Go give it a read. I love Delancy's books, never fail to entertain.

This is another installment of the Kasper Ridge series. Travis aka Sasquatch aka Sass has come back from Afghanistan with posttraumatic symptoms and he's not sleeping well, or at all. Ceecee asks him to be her fake boyfriend for the purposes of a reality TV show. But Travis has a secret that he absolutely should have told Ceecee before taking their relationship further, and this plot was a little frustrating because the trainwreck caused by Travis keeping things to himself was completely predictable to the reader and it should have been predictable to him as well. Not cool, Travis, not smart. What a tangled web we weave.

I have been following the treasure hunt subplot from the previous books with interest and this time they find something bigger. Another subplot concerns a bridezilla wedding at the resort.

Steam level: Some sexual content.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It is one of the most beautiful, heartwarming, emotional love stories. It may have started as a fake romance but it is about what love is and what it is not and having the strength to go for what you want. It touched my heart deeply. As always Delancey put her heart and soul into this one. There is a fake relationship as Cece has entered a televised contest to boost her adventure guide business and win a trip and Travis agrees to help by being her boyfriend to boost her chances.  There is a mystery as Travis is keeping something from Cece and Ghosts Uncle Marvin has left behind an ongoing puzzle and so much more.  The love scenes are absolutely beautifully and eloquently written.  The supporting characters are exciting, colorful and so well-written.  Will all be lost or will Travis find a solution to what he really wants?  I absolutely loved this exciting story which will captivate you from the get-go and will not let you go.

Travis and Ceecee have slowly becomes friends so when she asks him to be her fake boyfriend to help win a competition he easily agrees. It turns out that they both have stronger feelings than friendship for each other and things take a spicy turn pretty quickly. Travis suffers from PTSD after his time in the military and it makes him wary of going forward with Ceecee, but he can’t seem to resist her. He also has a pretty big issue from his past that comes back to haunt him and blows everything up for them. Ceecee has spent all her life in Kasper Ridge and is looking for adventure elsewhere, but the more time she spends with Travis the more she realises the biggest adventure could lie a home. Travis as troubled, kind, caring and would do anything for the people he loves. Ceecee is determined, adventurous and has a big heart. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

This is the 4th book in this incredible series, and this is Travis and CeeCee’s journey. Travis is a former fighter pilot, who feels he is worthless and does not deserve love, while CeeCee is adventurous, determined, and with a huge heart, but she has dreams and aspirations of leaving her small hometown to experience life outside of her comfort zone. When CeeCee ends a competition she needs a fake boyfriend and fast, so she asks Travis and he agrees. Can these two moves on from friends / lovers? This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with humor, witty banter, family, friendships, passion, a tad angst, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

CeeCee enjoys her job and her life, but she also craves new experiences. She never expected to be a finalist for a contest that could fulfill her dreams but now she needs a boyfriend. Travis is the perfect man for the job but she never expected that the biggest challenge might be ensuring that they don’t cross the line from friends to more.

After serving his country Travis returned to his hometown a changed man who has difficulty seeing himself as others do. He is always willing to do anything for anyone so when CeeCee, his friend and the woman he is secretly in love with, needs a favor he doesn’t hesitate but pretending to be a couple isn’t without its complications.

CeeCee and Travis are exactly what the other needs in their life and even though they had some challenges and turmoil to overcome that only made their relationship that much more special.

4 Star Review Only A Touch (Kasper Ridge #4) by Delancey Stewart
Delancey Stewart is a relatively new author to me but what I have read I have enjoyed. This is CeeCee and Travis (aka (Sasquatch).’s story and one that ticked a number of boxes for me.
Travis was such a dependable man who everyone relied on and there was so much more to him than what he shows the world. When CeeCee asks him to be her “fake “ boyfriend he agrees and that is the start of an entertaining story.
There was witty banter, a little angst and overall was a sweet story. Both Travis and CeeCee were easy to like and relate too and I enjoyed watching their relationship move form fake to real. I particularly liked CeeCee, she was such a strong woman who knows what she wants and is determined to succeed.
I loved that their friendship morphed into a real relationship and their journey left me smiling at the end.
