Elisabetta Dami is the author of the Geronimo Stilton a well-known series. I'm Not a Supermouse is one of the better books I have read. I have been reading these books all through my childhood and they are really good. Geronimo gets into a pickle when he goes to the library to get his book. Bruce another mouse came and saved him. Germano has a very fun trip he doesn't know where he is going but that he is in the air flying somewhere. when he landed it was very hot and sandy.
Kids in 4th grade should be able to read and understand what's going on. It is a very easy read with good information. That's all I am going to give I don't want to spoil it. I hope you find this review helpful.

These books are very popular in my mom's elementary school library, so I thought I would give it a read! These books are really interactive for readers, and are very entertaining reads! This book, in particular has lessons comically incorporated, this one in particular being perseverance as this mouse enters the adventure of a lifetime!

A completely interesting as well as inspirational story. This book will teach you how to survive in any hardships of life. Even though, the message is given in a comical manner, if taken seriously is very important in life. It is a must-read for all growing kids.

This is like 4 adventures packed into one book. At times, it does get a bit monotonous, but it resolves itself quickly and has a beautiful message at the end.

Picked up this book as a means to chase away the blues and was truly amazed!

The story is very simple and straightforward and revolves around a mouse, who is the hero and runs a leading newspaper. However, he is by self affirmation as well as by consensus - "a scaredy mouse". After a harrowing experience, his friend decides to take him out on an adventure and teach him a few life truths. How he handles the adventures and what happens to him thereafter makes a real amusing read!

However, what really made this book attractive to me was the simplicity with which the author has put across certain facts of life and how to go about handling it. These are facts that not only children but even we as adults somehow need to learn or maybe remember.

One of my favorite lines in this book and I guess all cheese lovers will agree is "When life hands you cheese, learn to make a triple decker cheese sandwich".. Of course, out of context, this line might seem a little trite and cheesy :)

Had wanted to read something from this series ever since I had witnessed a play created and directed by the kids of the drama academy, where my daughter is also a student. While I was amazed by their creativity then, I truly appreciate it today after reading this one.

All thanks and credit goes to my daughter of course, who insisted on buying this yesterday.... thought she was fleecing me but turns out its a great breezy read for kids and adults both. And in a world where kids are becoming more Wimpy, this at least teaches you something good :) :)

This book was filled with an exciting adventure in which Geronimo was forced to finish a course to prove that he was a real mouse . I rated this book a 2 stars because the first bit of the book was a complete waste of time i felt like i should have just skipped it. i think the author wanted to drag the book a little bit. they could have just gone straight to the part where bruce hyena took Geronimo to the desert. My favourite character in this book was Geronimo because he was really serious in the end . In the last parts of the book a terrible storm hit the city and Geronimo and some others volunteered to help people. Geronimo took the leadership in his hands and assigned them to their jobs My favourite part of the book was when The Orangutan thinks that Geronimo is his baby and he starts checking if his fur has any lice because orangutans pick other orangutans fur.I wouldn't change much but if i could i would cut the first half of the book as it was worthless reading like i said earlier.

An OK story, describing several different physical environments and what must be done to survive there.

The story itself is very choppy (which can actually make for a good bedtime story over a few nights!). My 7-year-old wanted to know more about the storm--hurricane? thunderstorms? tornadoes? if they kept the river form flooding, how were peoples' houses flooded? And a bunch more questions. Which led to a good discussion, with me unable to fully satisfy his questions about why the author didn't include more detail. (A discussion of signatures and not-too-scary kids books wasn't working for him :) )

This adventure of Geronimo opens up with Geronimo being stuck in an elevator. Geronimo's good friend Hyena comes to the rescue. Hyena then takes Geronimo onto an adventure to the Sahara Desert. Geronimo gives a survival guide on how to survive the desert. After a terrible trip to the desert, or as Geronimo would have thought, Hyena takes Geronimo on another adventure. Geronimo doesn't feel like he can survive these adventures. Dami writes a great series of Geronimo stories that will hold her readers in wanting to read the next book.

Geronimo finally learns how to stop being a wimpy cheesehead!

Another wonderful read. It's funny and interesting.. and has some very good points young (and old) can take from.

I agree with the reviewer who mentioned it is a little choppy - as in the story keeps jumping from thing to another to quickly, but overall I still liked it.

Graphically: the images and text are awesome!

Geronimo gets trapped in an elevator and panics. This causes his friend Bruce to take him out and help him learn some important things to help him in any future problems he might find himself in. They go to the desert, the North Pole, a jungle and then a cave. This helps when a disaster strikes close to home.

This book is great. He passed many deadly tasks. He could have been dead with his uncareful actions. The best part is seeing him singing in the dark. This book is about helping and teamwork. I hope everybody read it and learn from it.
