This is the most entertaining vocabulary book I've ever read. It is organized simply and succinctly. The authors provide a little audience participation along the way and include some humor with the history and usage information. I highly recommend this for teens needing to beef up their vocabulary, or for anyone wanting a light, fun, vocabulary boost.

This book is for all of my Words With Friends folks, my author friends, and students that want to show out. The words are grouped to help you learn how to say them, define them, spell them and use them in a sentence. There are several quizzes to reinforce your learning. This was a free kindle book that I will use over and over again.

Good casual set up and tone. Still wondering how I made it through college without this book. :)

Awesome! I love learning new words and this book is excellent for that purpose. The quizzes are very beneficial for me. Loved the fun words, of course, but all of them are good to know. Some I already knew, but it's always good to reinforce your knowledge on every subject, including vocabulary.

While I did know most of the words in the book at least within contest, I was surprised how many I did not know. Most of those I still consider rather obscure, but it was a fun experience and review.
