About the author

Aleksei Baranov is the nom de plume of a retired European businessman whose long career brought him into direct contact with many situations in Europe and beyond, some of them quite bizarre, as well as with persons of very diverse cultural origins. In addition to writing books and occasional articles, he continues to pursue selected business activities and travels frequently throughout Europe to visit friends and relatives. He is married with two daughters.
