While brother and sister team express the process of everyday life experiences in many areas. Andre works, teaches, and has to reevaluate what his life is becoming. As his marriage to the girl he impregnates in High School, brings doubt in his mind about having a long lasting mate. He shares with his sister the responsibility of a sick mother. Jada is in school, manages her mother's household, and has the luxury of dating what is known as the male species. She has grown in her life with being raised by an over protective single mother. She often turns to Andre for support. The two live to cherish what time they have and are losing with their families. In the city of Chicago is where home is. Without being completely fair with their feelings, they travel the hard roads of living, learning the uneasy way. They rebuild what pieces they have left for a fresh new outlook on life.
