This book was very well written and I did not want to put it down until I was finished . Joey is an erotic romance author on a working vacation in Hawaii she meets architect and short-term neighbor, Gray Hawk. When Gray sees Joey have a naked outdoor shower he makes her a proposition , this book had me laughing at the things these two do. I was gifted a copy and am voluntarily reviewing this book.

I will probably reread this. There are some issues covered that ring a bell with my life, not because of an ex but other people in my life. They are probably even harder to ignore than an ex since they were adults when I was a child.

By the Book is the perfect title for this story. You have a writer with a block and an interesting neighbor with an interest in the writer. Such an interesting way to learn about love by using a book to learn about sex. Read and enjoy as the book is excellent!

A nice steamy read!! I really enjoyed the premise. Well written story. Fun story of a steamy author looking for inspiration. If research were anything like this I might try to be a writer!

I voluntarily ARC for honest review. This storyline and characters are brilliant exquisitely well written and story is drama rom-com adventure provocative and hot streamy explosives sex. I love and recommend this book to everyone. Gotta love a HOT YUMMY MILITARY MAN.
