Missing in Paris: Hope and Resilience

Rate this book
Mario’s journey began when he boarded a flight from Barcelona to search for a missing teenager in Paris. The author is proud to be chosen as the person who put Mario's story to paper. The story is about Mario's journey and what he encountered and endured. Mario's journey takes him from hope to the depths of suicidal despair. The story outlines the pathway of Mario while on the search for a teenager missing in Paris. Topics of mental health, adverse childhood experiences, hope and resilience and helping to find other missing children and adults are researched within the book. The research section is interactive and you can gain access to a wealth of self-help research and information. The book further discusses how hope and resilience plays a major role for everyone especially those affected by some form of adversity. When a person goes missing families want everyone on earth to know that their child or family member is missing and they desperately ask for your help. The story follows the path of the “Searcher” and the search for the missing teenager. Mario said that, “while it was similar to searching for ‘a needle in a haystack’, it was engulfed in many facets of understanding oneself, and embracing the journeys trials and tribulations while attempting to care for one’s own mental health.” “Sofia’s phone rang, she answered it and continued to walk around the room, nodding her head in acknowledgement of what was being said. I could see the blood drain from her face. Soon a sense of loss became the birth of her crumbling body towards the slouch of despair as she sat down on the sofa....With tears in her eyes she put her hands to the side of her face. Sofia then said, "Alicia has gone missing."... Each night before I went to bed, I revised my map and planned my next day's tasks. What areas I was going to cover, what churches and hostels I would visit....Each morning began with Hope and each night ended with despair…“Children and adults are reported missing from all around the world. This could be your teenage daughter or son, what would you do? Each person in society can make a difference in helping to find a missing person. This book will demonstrate how with little effort you too can help find a missing person. All proceeds from this book go towards helping the authors three main 1) Helping to find missing people 2) Mental health awareness, and 3) Fighting Climate change and protecting our planet.
