Chew on these one-of-a-kind conversation starters! Pass the salt? Eat your peas? You can do better than that! This book provides you with 365 ways to spark conversation and engage your youngsters while you gather around the table.
Make dinnertime a lively experience the whole family looks forward to, as kids share their ideas, explore their creativity, and let you in on their wildest dreams with fun (and thought-provoking) questions
There are a lot of books/articles/tools out there for listing different, and sometimes creative, ways to enhance dinner conversations for families. This book, by far, was one of the better ones. The thing that I thought sets this one apart is the follow-up questions: once you throw out the first fun dinner question, the author helps with how to keep that discussion moving forward, sometimes for fun, sometimes for learning more about your children, and sometimes to help them discover answers to difficult questions. Great resource for families with kids of all ages. The only missing ingredient is questions that deal with more spiritual matters.
