In Abhishek Krishnan's "Manwaan: The Awakening," the fight between good and evil is given a mythological twist. The Underworld Clan of Asuras and Rakshasas, fallen angels, celestial warriors, and gods are all involved in the fight to decide the fate of humanity. This exciting fantasy book will take you to a world of ancient wars, strange creatures, and powerful forces from the heavens.

The novel follows the story of Rinad, a 26-year-old who, after the opening of the Gateway to Hell, finds himself in the middle of an age-old conflict between good and evil. Never in his wildest dreams did Rinad think he'd end up fighting in a legendary conflict between good and evil. But when he finds out that he is a Manwaan, a warrior who is half-human and half-celestial and was created by the Gods to fight the Underworld Clan, he realizes that he is a very important part of this battle.

One of the best things about the book is its intricate plot, which is full of twists and turns that keep the reader engaged and guessing. Krishnan has created a rich and interesting world full of fantastical beings, ancient battles, and heavenly powers, and he has skillfully woven all of these things into a story. The plot moves at breakneck speed and is filled with nonstop action. There is also a good deal of suspense and mystery in the story, which will keep readers on the edge of their seats.

"Manwaan: The Awakening" has a plot that is complicated and intricate, with many different threads and subplots that weave together to make a rich and satisfying story. The flow of the novel is also well done, with the story moving smoothly from one scene to the next without any awkward transitions or abrupt changes in direction. The characters are well thought-out and interesting. They all have their own fears, hopes, and goals, which move the story forward. The dialogue is also well-written, and each character has a voice and personality that are unique to them.

Abhishek Krishnan has skillfully written a book with interesting characters, a complicated plot, and a world that is vividly imagined. Krishnan's writing shows a high level of skill, bringing the story to life with a great mix of action, suspense, and emotional depth. He takes the time to build up each character, which helps the reader feel more connected to them. This makes the action and drama of the novel all the more intense and meaningful, as readers become invested in the fate of each character.

Rinad's character is excellently developed over the course of the novel. At first, Rinad is a reluctant hero, unsure of his own abilities and afraid of the dangers that surround him. However, as he learns more about his true identity as a Manwaan, Rinad begins to find the strength and courage to face his fears and fight for what is right. One of the strengths of Rinad's character is his relatability. Despite the supernatural elements of the story, Rinad's struggles and insecurities are grounded in real-world experiences and emotions. This makes him a character that readers can easily identify with and root for.

Krishnan's writing style is also notable for its poetic quality. The author uses rich and evocative language to bring the world and characters to life. The prose is both descriptive and emotional, creating a vivid and immersive reading experience. Krishnan's skill in creating atmosphere and setting is also noteworthy, as the world of the novel is brought to life in vivid detail. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a fast-paced, emotionally resonant, and immersive fantasy novel. Whether you're a longtime fan of the genre or new to it, "Manwaan: The Awakening" is a must-read.

Manwaan: The Awakening by Abhishek Krishnan is an exciting new take on the ancient battle between good and evil. This book combines Hindu mythology and modern-day culture to create a unique and captivating story.

The main character of the book, Rinad, is a 26-year-old, hyper-anxious, pot-smoking man. When the Gateway of Hell is opened, Rinad finds himself in the middle of a celestial battle between the Gods and the Underworld Clan. He soon realizes that he is a Manwaan – a half man, half Celestial warrior created by the Gods to fight in the war.

I will keep Manwaan: The Awakening in a fantasy genre. I feel we are now moving towards exploring more of this genre in Indian writings. The plot revolves around the age old fight between the good and the bad. When we speak of them in Indian context, we divide them as Angels and Asuras or say people of Hell and Heaven. This book is not based on any particular Mytholgy and mixes concepts from all religions. It picked Angels and Heaven from Christanity, Asuras and Rakshash from Hinduism and we see few elements from Islam too. Thus making the book a true example of One energy and various forms.
This book acts as an introduction to the universe we will be looking forward too. We are introduced to the type of threat, the reason for fight and strength of each character. There are three major forms of life introduced in this book which is furthur divided into many sub characters. The characters will seem familiar and blended with Indian context. We also get to see ordinary people like us facing their fears and facing issues like depression, ADHD, anxiety etc and how they try to cope up with it. I didn't like the way they explained the cause and effect of the disease and maybe we can find better explaination to it in upcoming parts.
Overall the story is developing nicely. The language is lucid and easy to understand. It is a page turner full of thrill. You will find complete fight sequences and they are written with so much detailing that we can actually visualise it. Overall a go to read, if you are a person who can go for long series and books. Waiting for it's upcoming stories.

Review:

A mythological fantasy fusion book that I never knew I would like this much.

The book starts with Asuras, with the help of one of the Fallen Angel led by Satan, comes out of the underworld. They take over some human bodies as their hosts and starts to kill the Manwaans, the part Human and part Celestial beings, made by the Worthy Angeles, to help human kind. But after two Millenium both the fallen angels and underworld clan are ready with their plans to win their long battle.

And we also meet our chosen hero, Rinad, a 26 year old, always fighting anxiety, always in under pot-smoking haze, who is Manwaan himself. And we see him not only fights for himself, as well as his fight as a Manwaan.

The plot, the fantasy elements are really interesting and intriguing. And the story is also fast paced.

I also like Rinad's character, as he's not like other chosen hero we see, the way author flash out his anxiety ridden character, then his slow character development is worth the read.

There's also little little scenes like when Asuras enjoying their human life, trying everything human does and even complaining about Mumbai traffic, makes the mood light in between these high stakes plot.

So even though it's a same old Good vs Evil, God vs Satan and Asuras war, a chosen hero, the execution and overall idea makes the book a must read book.

The book has a good opening scene that makes you want to read more. The plot is really interesting and full of action and twists. I really liked the author’s great work on characters and their development through the flow of the story.
I personally liked the character Rinad, who is also the protagonist in the story. I feel connected to Rinad and his issues with family, his desires, and his bad habits. I liked Rinad’s journey of self-discovery and finding the purpose of his life.

The author has written the story in a unique way and has done amazing work in presenting it as well. The structure of the story that the author has presented keeps the reader engaged. The use of significant language and the small shlokas such as

Abhishek Krishnan’s “Manwaan- The Awakening” is an amazing book that I recently read.
From the eye catching cover of the book, one can get an idea about the content – it is good versus evil but you’ll realize that it is more than that once you read the book. I am a big fan of mythological genre and that is why a friend suggested this book to me. Once I started reading it, this book became unputdownable to me. Till the last page, I was so engaged with the book that I really didn’t want to end.
The beautiful writing style and simple, lucid language make the book interesting and easily understandable to the readers.
Ancient time mythology in Modern plot – this combination make the book outstanding.
There are a lot of characters in the story and every character has its own significance. The efforts made by the author is reflected in this book.
I personally loved the book and eagerly waiting to read the next part.
This book is recommended to everyone who loves mythology as well as who want to read something very interesting and new.

Guruji nodded and smiled in agreement. 'Even if we can save one soul, it would be a victory. And remember...you are neither Gods nor human. You are the best of both. You are Manwaans!'

The protagonist of the story is Rinad, a guy who's in his 20's, who suffers from anxiety. He has weird dreams and fails to find answers to them.

The fight is between good and evil. The Mumbai cops are terrified seeing the "creatures" dressed like normal humans, killing many innocents. There is pool of blood everywhere and these "creatures" cannot be killed via normal police encounter, because the bullets don't harm them. Their chief orders his men to kidnap Rinad, as he wanted him alive.

Rinad is then saved by Manwaans. He then realizes his destiny, which sends chills down his spine.

Who are these "creatures" and what do they need? Why didn't they kill Rinad like other people? Can the cops find these "creatures" at the end? Who are these Manwaans and why did they save Rinad? Who's Rinad? This fantasy book involves mythological aspects with a modern twist.
P.S.: There are three types of them in the book.

A captivating story that would give the feel of watching a perfect sci-fi movie which is no less than a Hollywood genre. It begins with the introduction of Usur who ruled the underworld. He was just 5 feet but wielded enormous power. He gets an assignment from Mihaara, a fallen angel. Usur commands a few asuras to invade and annex Earth. They had resistance in the form of Manwaans who were half human and half God. At any given point, there were 108 of them.

The introduction of how these Asuras get into the physical body of humans made me feel the rewind of sci-fi movies. They first capture a vegetable vendor and a customer of his.

The feel of asuras when they encountered traffic was captured candidly. They did not eat food. Feel the weather. However, they liked the sweat of humans and since the event is set to happen in Bandra and the surrounding areas, it also had the mention of vada pav with chili.

Rinad, a copywriter at the creative agency “Copy That” was 26 years old. Vinay, Param & Jogi were his friends. When he gets abducted by Asuras, Jaffer comes to rescue but gets wounded by the Asuras. Calls up Guruji and informs him.

Who is this Guruji?

Rescue arrives in the form of a giant winged man and a slick female with a bob cut when the abduction happens for the second time.

Then there is an introduction of cops.
Virat Pawar - S.I.
Manohar Deshpande - Inspector
Kamat - ACP

How their best gets killed in front of their eyes and makes them believe the presence of the supernatural. This leads to the formation of the best squad of 30. Starts investigating.

Maya, Yuva , Ash, Nivi were some of the angels

Ash & Nivi draw their lineage to Ashwini Twins. They will never die. Healing capabilities in their blood. Doctors. Creates unique weapons including audicapitator.

Milaayak- one of the seven worthy angels rescues Rihad. Uraavati, Gurgaan - other angels. When things go out of control, Jaffer - Leader of Musafir clan, and a confidante of Guruji come to the rescue.

Shaanti- sis of Guruji comes at the tad end o the story.

Najasuras & Najakshas - commanded by Nagdor join hands with Asuras.

Emakeni - Sister of Mihaara.

Did the Manwaans defeat the Asuras? What did Asuras actually want? What happens to Guruji, Usur, and others?
Give this story a read. You will fall in love with this.

Every mythological story has the battle between good and evil at its core. Manwaan: The Awakening is a mythological fiction with a unique contemporary setting and some exciting twists.

Manwaan: The Awakening starts with a breakaway group of fallen angels conspiring with the Demons in hell to take over the earth in a well-planned coup. Only the worthy celestial angels with Manwaans (half man, half celestial warriors) can protect the earth. Unknown to him, Rinad, a young copywriter is destined to play a key role in this celestial battle between the Angels and Demons. Soon Rinad’s quiet life is plunged into chaos as he has to lead the Manwaans into the great fight against the demons. Will Rinad be able to rise to the role he is destined to play and save entire humanity?

As a story, Manwaan combines all the ingredients of a mythological thriller set in modern times perfectly. It recreates the age-old battle between Gods and Demons, set in the present day with some exciting new classes like Manwaans and fallen angels. The Manwaans seamlessly fit in the narrative, as celestial beings with their unique backstory, opening a whole new world to explore. With the modern setting, the book also incorporates other modern elements like new weapons and research, which was a nice touch.

The story revolves around Rinad and his character arc is one of the best in the story. From initial vulnerability & reluctance to slowly warming up to his newfound abilities, you enjoy his growth as a protagonist. All the sequences showing his training and his discovery of his true character are some of the best parts of the book.

The writing style is lucid and the world-building is excellent. The narration is fast-paced and keeps switching between the worlds but you never lose track of the tightly woven story. The action scenes and the battles are really well written making you visualise the action as it happens. The climax battle will all the revelations is thrilling. The book ends on a note that promises I lot more in the next book in the series and I can’t wait to read it.

Overall, Manwaan: The Awakening is an exciting thriller with a unique concept. The story is exciting with some thrilling twists and the characters are well-crafted. If you enjoy a good thriller with lots of action and adventure, you will enjoy this book.

Let's reveal the title first.
Man: Human(Manushya)+ Waan: God( bhagwan) = Manwaan( combination of god and human)

This book starts from a place of hell yeah.. the real hell of Indian origin where Asura, Usur and Angles talk about a revolution that is going to happen on Earth.

It's a tale of heaven, hell and Earth. how evils are ready to destroy the Earth and their mission to take the charge.

This mysterious universe of superpowers, evil notions, and fighting for right and wrongs within the context of the Modern 2022 era.

It's interesting to read about protagonists having a normal life like they are doing freelance, MBBS and playing sports.
And then have to participate in a mysterious revolution to save their city.
They are normal people like us and then they have to fight the evil powers to save themselves and their families and from the bird's eye view, they are saving the earth.
I can connect with the storyline much with the mixture of Indian languages, Indian characters and Indian cities like Mumbai, Tamil Nadu And Delhi.
Because I know these things on a personal level.
I can imagine the situation, places, people, food and weather in many real ways.

✍️My views-
I want to appreciate the author for his attempt to create this book universe in its unique way.
So the author created a universe around Mumbai that is the whole of the Earth.

🔥Recommendations-
If you love the Marvel Avengers universe. You gonna love it.
It's a Desi universe with Indian flavours.
To be honest it's astonishing to watch the characters coming alive in our Indian context like Rakshasas, Angles, and Kings of Manwaans but in this Era of 2022.

Okay, now I m not gonna reveal much here because it's a fiction book.
If I will tell everything here it will spoil the essence of the stories.😂

Happy reading ❤️

I recently had the pleasure of reading this book and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. From its intriguing and unique premise of fusing Hindu Religious History with contemporary life, to its well-developed characters, this book is a must-read for anyone who loves a good adventure story.

The protagonist, Rinad, is a character that truly shines in this book. His transformation from a simple man with no sense of purpose, to a true hero who is willing to fight for what is right, is truly inspiring.

The journey that Rinad goes through is not only exciting, but also thought-provoking, as he learns the importance of embracing his true purpose in life and standing up for what is right, even in the face of adversity.

The opening pages of the book immediately drew me in with its intriguing plot of a splinter faction of fallen angels plotting a coup to take control of the planet. The world-building in this novel is fantastic, and the author does an excellent job of painting a vivid picture of the world in the reader's mind.

The writing style of the author is engaging and captivating, making it easy to get lost in the story. The pacing of the book is just right, with enough action and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat, but also enough quiet moments to allow you to reflect on the characters and their journey.

This is a truly excellent piece of fiction that should not be missed. It is a well-crafted tale that is both engaging and thought-provoking, with memorable characters and a unique and intriguing premise.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good adventure story and is looking for something truly unique and memorable.

Got recommended by a friend of mine and I'm really thankful to him that I stumbled across this great book.
Firstly, huge respect and great appreciation to the author Abhishek Krishnan making such a series of masterpieces. This book is a blends elements of mythology and modern fiction. Rinad the main protagonist suffering from anxiety and other issues of his life , however a God and evil situation occurred and he is saved somehow from the situation. Read this book to explore the adventure .

The author has focused subtlely on each and every character; as a result, they've been more lively and contributed significantly in their particular positions.
A unique way of index is shown by the author. I really enjoyed this insightful book. It is so clearly and logically organised as well as being extremely readable.
The tales are easy to negotiate and it flows seamlessly. I have no authority to call the book bad. Because I was fascinated by the back cover of the book and it was the first time I got attracted to the name. Moreover, from the quality of the page to the description of the book, the author's choice of language, the specification of the language, the consonance of the language, everything has been shown to be skillful.

The final scenes & climax to the novel are truly compelling, pulling the reader more deeply into its raw energy & spiritual awakening.

Manwaan- The Awakening
Author- Abhishek Krishnan
My Rating-⭐⭐⭐⭐
My Review-
Fantasy is a genre that gives us a chance to explore the world that was only available on imagination rather than reality. It depends on the author's imagination power to pen such things from his imagination which decides how the book can be.

This book is a great blend of modern fiction and mythology which is really fascinating. The term Manwaan means half man and half god which is a fusion word from Manushya and Bhagwaan. This is the first thing that got my attention when I started reading this book and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The main protagonist of this book is Rinad , a 26 year old anxious person that makes you feel if he is really a hero. When he finds himself in the middle of the celestial battle of Gods and Underworld clan he finds himself as a Manwaan, a warrior created by the god to fight the war.

This book is fast paced and it is very interesting to read the author's creative imagination that made this book wonderful. I've hardly put the book down and completed this book in a couple of sittings. The ending of this book is very interesting with a rollercoaster ride of thrill and I'm very keen to read the next book by the author.

The language used in this book is quite impressive and character building in this book is quite appreciable. I definitely like this book very much despite of its length.

I highly recommend this book for all my bookish friends to give this book a try and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Happy Reading 😊❤️…

Title: Manwaan: The Awakening
Author: Abhishek Krishnan
Length: 294 pages (58 chapters and a prologue)
Genre: Mythological fiction, fantasy
.
When the Gateway of Hell is opened, a 26-year-old, hyper-anxious, pot-smoking Rinad finds himself embroiled in a celestial battle with the Fallen Angels and the Underworld Clan of Asuras and Rakshasas on one side and the Gods and the Worthy Angels on the other. Unable to step on Earth themselves, the Gods feared losing this war and began creating their own army of half man, half Celestial warriors – Manwaans.
Rinad soon realizes that he has a pivotal role to play. In the first part of this series, ‘The Awakening’, Rinad is exposed to this world as he navigates the chaos and finds his purpose.
To know what role he has to play in the novel and whether he will be able to fulfill his role, do read the novel.
.
Talking about the language, it is lucid and easily comprehensible.
The plot of the novel, as well as the characters, are well-developed.
The story feels slow paced in the beginning, but it picks up the much needed pace with the course of the novel and hooks the reader till the very end.
The book cover is very eye-catching, and the story in short is interesting and engaging.
The character list at the end makes things easier to comprehend.
The main theme the novel deals with is that of good versus evil. The author indeed has done an appreciable job by creating such a captivating narrative.
It is thrilling as well as exciting.
.
On the whole, the book is worth your time. Do give it a read.

Rinad discovers itself in the middle of a supernatural conflict between the Divine beings and the Righteous Supernatural beings on one hand and the Disembodied Spirits, the Underground world Tribe of Asuras, and Rakshasas on the opposite when the Doors of Eternal damnation is raised. The Gods, who were unable to enter Earth, were concerned about losing this battle and started developing their personal military of Manwaans, fighters that were half human and half divine. This novel is a visionary narrative with elements of contemporary literature and traditional. The conflict between greatness and evil is the narrative's underlying premise, but it takes a work piece turn. I don't usually read this kind of thing, but the plot of this book changed the way I look at things. The book's characters are sophisticated and interesting, which makes it easy for readers to identify with them. Although Rinad is a flawed and weak hero, he develops courage and strength throughout the novel as he learns more about himself and his abilities. This book forces you to think deeply while still keeping you interested until the very last page. The book's idea is intriguing, captivating, and original. The manner the story's plots were developed by the author is very fantastic. The narration and the plot go quite quickly. Additionally, the storyline is incredibly excellent and may completely captivate readers.

Book Description: When the Gateway of Hell is opened, a 26-year-old, hyper-anxious, pot-smoking Rinad finds himself embroiled in a celestial battle with the Fallen Angels and the Underworld Clan of Asuras and Rakshasas on one side and the Gods and the Worthy Angels on the other. Unable to step on Earth themselves, the Gods feared losing this war and began creating their own army of half man, half Celestial warriors – Manwaans.

With a well detailed plot of wonderful intricacies, a narration that blurs the line between reality and fiction the author has woven a fantastic book.
The writing and plot is great but I have to add it was a bit slow paced for my taste in the start and as the plot picked up the pace in the second half it was smooth ride for me. I was expecting a fairly predictable fantasy setup, it was anything but that. The story has a unforgettable mystical vibe throughout the book, that evokes wonder coupled with well developed characters. The storyline follows an unanticipated direction with parallel dimensions, Rinad trying to find his way, in a new and downright dangerous surrounding the war brewing and what not, and that truly pay offs making it a delightfully read.

This tale will trick your mind, elicit heart racing emotions, and keep you guessing until the very last page. I was caught in palm-sweating, mind-bending spell weaved by Abhishek Krishnan.
Can't wait for the sequel!

The story for this series is set up in Mumbai. Modern day Bandra is the epicenter for the story. It starts with opening of portals and an introduction to Asuras. This book is a blend of tales and realities which we often recognise as fantasy fiction. We are introduced to Asuras, Rakshasas, Angels - Both Fallen and Worthy, Gods, Hell, Heaven and many such concepts.
As the bad is often excluded, they feel the need for revolution. The Asuras breach the realm and move to earth to take over what is rightfully theirs. We have few characters picked up from various movies and stories we already know. You will connect to them once you read it. They are all training for much bigger objectives. The cover page is beautifully designed. A perfect colour choice and relation to the story. I liked the idea of merginf hell and earth. How the difference between both is reducing slowly in the story, but the earth is always protected and guided by the good or Angels as the story suggests. Kudos to the designers of the page. The end is left open and the story paves the way for many more turns which we will see in the upcoming parts of the book. This is a action packed book and we witness lot many fight sequences. If you like to read thrillers, this is a go to book. I won't put it out as mythology as it does not pick up any character or story from mythology, I will say it is creating a whole new world. So, pick this book with a open mind with all the scope for possibilities. Recommeded.

The book is an incredible start of a mythical fantasy universe. Quite impressed with the setting and the tone of the book. The book cover is amazing and the intricate details are not compromised which is great. The title is small and apt. The book is the first of its series and talks about the start of it all. The characters are mostly messed up people who fin their way and turn their life around when they realise they have a greater purpose. The book is easy to read and is beginner friendly. Must mention that the storytelling is extraordinary. The scenes that are described are so life like and pretty impressive.

The book is about a war between hell (asuras and demon) and heaven (angels and gods) God in order to win the war create army of half man, half Celestial warriors – Manwaans.
The book's main character is Rinad, he is a man in his late 20s who is a havoc on his own his life changes when he realises what he is and what his goals are for. What happens further and how the story unfurls is fascinating. Read the book to know about what happens if he is able to manage to become his best self or not before he goes off to fight the demons of hell.

The book does not have a main stream goody goody hero which is good in my opinion cause it's too basic, rather a person like him who is super anxious and is addict changes his way around all of it and manages to be the hero of the story.

Have you ever felt purposeless, just going through the motions of life without any goal or ambition? Have you ever felt that you don’t belong? Do always have to numb yourself to breathe normally? Have you ever wondered that maybe there is a reason for feeling this way.
Twenty six year old Rinad never thought that being part divine was the reason why he had been plagued with anxiety and panic attacks almost all of his life. He would never have guessed that the reason that he could never sleep sober is because he is a Manwaan; part divine, part mortal beings that have heightened capabilities to defend the earth from the evil that is threatening to annihilate the world.
As Rinad navigates this unfamiliar world, we travel along with him as he learns to believe in himself and realise his true potential so that he protect the earth from the Asuras and Fallen Angels who are trying to conquer it. But Rinad is not alone in this journey, he has the help of some great people who are willing to do anything to protect the earth.
There is Guruji, the all knowing teacher of the Manwaans, fellow Manwaans with powers of their own, a secret society of individuals who know about the Manwaans quest and are trained to help them and of course the two police officers who will protect their city against anything. Rinad has all the help that he can get, now he only needs to believe in himself.

Rinad, a 26 year old corporate worker, is thrust into a path that he never would have chosen for himself, when he discovered that he is a part of an elite race tasked with duty of protecting the earth from the Fallen Angels and Asuras.
Rich, vivid, entrancing. Manwaan: The Awakening is all those things and more. I found the world-building in this series without fault. I have to give it to Abishek Krishnan for creating this book. The concept kept me enthralled to the last page. The characters, the setting, every detail of every scene was imagined so thoroughly and brought out in paper as brilliantly as possible.
We are not overwhelmed by the number of supernatural beings or rules in the “manwaanverse” but at the same time there is sense of leaving the real one for the fantasy, which was precisely what I was looking. If you’ve always wanted to try fantasy novels but couldn’t because of the sheer number of details you have to remember then Manwaan is perfect for you.
The action was intense and sometimes frightening. Krishnan’s word choice brings every scene to life. I never felt like there was a wall between me and the events playing out in this story. I felt like I was right there for every part. If you are looking for a captivating book that will take you to a fantasy world that is also familiar, this one is for you.

Manwaan : The Awakening is an action-packed paranormal book that keeps you hooked to the story. A 26 year old corporate worker addicted to pot, an all knowing Guruji who cracks cheesy jokes, mysterious youngsters with enviable powers and a couple of police officers who take their jobs very seriously introduce you to an alternate reality, where nightmares come true, truths are revealed and decisions have to be made.
Diving into this world is easy, effortless and enjoyable. The humour is all over the place and is waiting to crack you up. But mind that there is also drama, plot twists and shocking moments. The book ends with an unexpected cliff-hanger that leaves you gripping the edge of your seat, wanting for more.
The characters grow as the book continues. I was so new to this world and the author, but once I started it, I could never put it down. The characters and the magic system was so good. I really recommend this series especially if you are someone who has a hard time getting into books. You will fall in love with almost every character that you come across.
Abishek Krishnan has created a perfect world for you to lose yourself in, blending myths and legends with instances from everyday life. The story is so well written. The plots, twists, the characters, the descriptions. I enjoyed the world of the Manwaans. I’d like to see more of their environment and more Manwaans.

Abhishek Krishnan's, "Manwaan: The Awakening" is an ambitious and fast-paced fantasy novel that blends elements of mythology and modern fiction. The book's protagonist, Rinad, is a relatable and likable character whose struggles with anxiety and substance abuse make him an unlikely hero. The plot, which centers on a celestial battle between gods and fallen angels, is intriguing and well-constructed. The concept of the Manwaans as half-human, half-celestial warriors is also well-executed and adds a unique twist to the story.

The tension and escalation of the plot is well-done and keeps the reader engaged throughout the book. Rinad's character development is also noteworthy, as he navigates the chaos of this new world and finds his purpose. The author effectively portrays how Rinad has to fight his own battles before he steps up to his duties and helps defeat the Underworld warriors as they wage war on humanity.

Overall, "Manwaan: The Awakening" is an exciting and well-written adventure that will appeal to fans of fantasy and mythology. The blend of mythological elements and modern fiction creates a unique and engaging story that leaves the reader wanting more. Cover and Title of the book is very beautiful and attractive. I liked reading this book and definitely recommend it to all. Enjoy Reading.

This book, written by Abhishek Krishnan, is a fantasy novel that has elements of mythology and modern fiction. The story is basically based on the battle between good and evil, but with a modern twist. I don't actually read this type of genre, but this book changed my mind because of its storyline.

The book has a beautiful opening, along with the unique transactions between the scenes. I like how the characters' development has been shown in the book.

Dhemartha bhasonayaan Prajaraathy bhasonayaan Khuladasini bhasonayaan

I personally like the character of Rinad, who is trying to find a purpose in life. The way the author has written the story, which has kept the readers engaged, is unique and done amazingly.

The question that arises after reading this book is: who is the real monster—a monster whose real intentions are clear in front of the world, or the people who manipulate and control the creatures for their own hidden desires? The world is full of those people. Are we one of them?

This book is an exciting and well-written adventure that will amaze the fans and keep them hooked throughout the read. I personally enjoyed the whole experience and recommend this book to all. I'm definitely sure that this book will force the readers to question themselves. Must recommended.

Some book ,some stories remain in our core of the heart forever and left a mark in our mind. "Manwaan : The Awakening" by Abhishek Krishan is such a story which left a mark in my mind. The front page is eye pleasing and the title is appropriate to the storyline. This book is a mythical mash-up with a contemporary twist, and an old conflict between good and evil packed in a mythological fiction. This statement is a fantastic fit for the book. The book is written in a mesmerising way and is represented with lucid language. The book is full of adventure and action. The flow of the story is seamless, which shows how skilled the author is.The story starts with Usur and Mihaarji in an interesting opening scene that leads to our protagonist, Rinad, who is a guy working and dealing with various problems in his life. From his childhood to his job, he is facing various issues. Rinad suffers from anxiety and develops the bad habit of rubbing his joints. There are too many characters but Manwaan is the important one . As the whole story revolves around him.The language is also very simple and lucid and easy to understand.Very much pleased to read this book and also want to thank author for this great book.

The author's smooth writing style really impressed me a lot. I am recommending everyone to read the book for one time .

Title - Manwaan: The Awakening
Author - Abhishek Krishnan
Genre - Fiction(Sci-Fi)
Publisher - Notion Press

A captivating story that would give the feel of watching a perfect sci-fi movie which is no less than a Hollywood genre. It begins with the introduction of Usur who ruled the underworld. He was just 5 feet but wielded enormous power. He gets an assignment from Mihaara, a fallen angel. Usur commands a few asuras to invade and annex Earth. They had resistance in the form of Manwaans who were half human and half God. At any given point, there were 108 of them.

Book starts with the introduction of how these Asuras get into the physical body of humans made me feel the rewind of sci-fi movies. They first capture a vegetable vendor and a customer of his.The feel of asuras when they encountered traffic was captured candidly. They did not eat food. Feel the weather. However, they liked the sweat of humans and since the event is set to happen in Bandra and the surrounding areas, it also had the mention of vada pav with chili. Maya, Yuva , Ash, Nivi were some of the angels. When things go out of control, Jaffer - Leader of Musafir clan, and a confidante of Guruji come to the rescue.Shanti- sis of Guruji comes at the tad end of the story.Najasuras & Najakshas - commanded by Nagdor join hands with Asuras.

Did the Manwaans defeat the Asuras? What did Asuras actually want? What happens to Guruji, Usur, and others?

Give this story a read. You will fall in love with this.

As we know meditation is one of the essential things in our life and this story shows the same. Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health. You can also use it to relax and cope with stress by refocusing your attention on something calming. Meditation can help you learn to stay centered and keep inner peace. In this book, the storyline revolves around a guy named Ridan, who is a copywriter by profession and is having issues in life; the guy is also the protagonist in the story. He suffers from anxiety attacks and a little trigger is enough for him. The scene where the gurujii was teaching meditation to Rinad really fascinates me. The way Rinad became confident in himself with the help of meditation training really made me believe the power of meditation.

This book does not preach. It helps the readers in evolving as a person. The poems have a long lasting impact and have high penetration value.

I would rate it at 5 out of 5. The book is a good read. I would recommend it as a must-read book. I immensly enjoyed reading the book. I look forward to more books authoured by her in future.

The book is available on Amazon, Kindle, goodreads etc. You may get your copy as soon as possible to get your sip of exciting bunch of well written story.

Each and every single individual is known to have only one life to live, and therefore, it can be concurred that the odds against our existence are, quite literally, beyond comprehension.

Hence, it becomes important that we do justice to all the countless factors that have had a hand in contributing to line up our life the way it has panned out, and ultimately find the true meaning behind it all.

In the book, ‘Manwaan : The Awakening’ by author Abhishek Krishnan, we see the journey of our main protagonist to self realization and finding the true purpose of his life, thereby highlighting the fact that even if we have to defy all the odds to exist, we should never stop our attempt.

Rinad was someone who never even in his wildest dreams thought that he would be caught in between the fight against the good versus evil, and would have to play a pivotal role in helping things take to their fruition, but as he was thrust into this, we see how slowly and gradually, he developed over time.

The blending of mythology and fiction is not an easy task as this is a genre that sometimes can go downhill pretty quickly, hence I would like to applaud the author for not only woving them together, but also giving a banging start to a series that is definitely worth to be watched out for. Hence, I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
