Straightforward with great visuals for each of the standard projects most homeowners would encounter. Would be nice if it spoke about modern things like smart switches.

This is a good enough place to start if you have no knowledge of household wiring. Skip it if you already know the basics. There is not enough detail for serious projects.

I'm working on some honey-do stuff (electric) right now. This book doesn't have too much detail. It's good for simple jobs, but not for in-depth remodeling.
