Okay, first off, the cover of Fearless is very misleading. It's not a cowboy story. It's a contemporary Cop and Boyfriend story that takes place in Tucson AZ and in the Sonoran desert in Mexico. In fact, there isn't even a mention of a horse until the last few pages. And that's just in passing, it had nothing to do with the story. All that aside, I did like the story, it's a little bumpy in areas and I was left feeling a little unsure why something was said or done. The character of Diego was interesting, but I don't think he was developed as fully as he could have been. He started out strong, but somewhere midway we lost him.

I give Fearless three stars.

My review is in spoiler tags because it hasn't been edited yet. It probable has too much negative stuff as that's what I tend to think to write down. If I'm enjoying myself, I don't want to stop reading!


There was some pretty phrasing there that I really liked but the whole thing is a little disjointed, like every other sentence is missing. But then there'll be a beautiful scene that's short and sweet and just the right length and tone like Coltins memory of the night they met.

The thing about him owning a ranch that crossed the border is odd and sounds impossible. Does that happen?

The text is almost lyrical with this melancholia that's beautiful but somehow not right for the violent and disturbing plot.

I don't like how C lets some female give him a bj (he could have yelled) or that Diego is flirting with someone obviously in love with him. This feels like a tragic ending is around the corner.

This definitely wasn't predictable. I like the fact that the legal route worked better.

I loved the descriptions of the places and the people and the food--just enough not too much.

I really really hate the part with the artist. I u set stand what the author was trying to do but I hated it.

First time reading this author and I am hooked. Great plot - the book description does not do it justice. The plot was suspenful and I loved the MC development, while the sex scenes were hot they did not get in the way of the story. You have to read the 2nd book to get the best understanding of the MCs.

Reads like a fever dream, which, given Colton's concussion, works for the story. High drama and compelling boyfriends drive this story; kind of the beach read of MM romance (which is saying something).
