Geronimo Stilton #23

Valentine's Day Disaster

Rate this book
Enter the world of Geronimo Stilton, where another funny adventure is always right around the corner. Each book is a fast-paced adventure with lively art and a unique format kids 7-10 will love. It was Valentine's Day in New Mouse City, and I couldn't wait to celebrate! I had sent valentine cards to all my friends and family members. But when I opened my mailbox on the morning of February 14th, it was empty! Had everyone forgotten about me? Was I destined to spend Valentine's Day alone in my mousehole, sobbing, with only my pet fish to console me? It was starting to look like a true Valentine's Day disaster!

Valentine’s Day Disaster is a perfect book to read with (or without!) your kids on Valentine’s Day. In addition to the cute illustrations, the text has graphic elements to it (different fonts, larger letters, and different colors) that makes the words fun to read for kids and adults alike. There’s also always a positive message in these books, a lesson to be learned whether you’re 8 or 80!

Valentine's day - a day where how much you appreciate or like someone not necessarily someone ur dating it could be anyone ur sister ur parents or a close friend. the best way to describe it is that this book is a disaster!!!
So Geronimo Stilton has a crush on Petunia (eww). I rated this book 2stars because its all so disgusting , mushy and most importantly it comes under the category ROMANCE ughhhh!!!!. i hated the fact that it was completely based on dating and not appreciating people on general which is what i believe valentine's day is for the people you love not that one person ur dating or u have a crush on . it was a bit funny at times that i will give but yeah i think they could have altered the book to make it much more interesting as i think most people might want a fun interesting and adventurous book rather than this that is the main reason i read the geronimo stilton books. @everyone could you please give me some recommendations for some mystery type books

Dear readers, I am tell you about this story is all about.

The setting is Geronimo's mouse hole and his office. The event of the story is he has a lot of disaster in his valentine party. The mouse is like a normal has but it is a really warm house, and there are a lot of yummy food. His office has a lot of sheet of paper and he has a laptop. Every like 5 minutes someone will call him to make a new book. In his house it smell cheese perfume. In his office it smell like cheese. In his house I can see a cozy bed. A cozy living room. At his kitchen there are a lot of food. It taste it like cheese and not a rotten a cheese. I am interested on the setting because Geronimo house so cool. I want to visit the setting because it is a cool place to see at. At first he has a really bad luck and he sad. At last he was so happy that he can go to heaven.

The book I read for the first time this semester 2 is Valentine's Day Disaster. I chose this book because in language art class there has SSR and I have to choose the book but I don't know I should choose and look at the bookshelf and I see lost of Geronimo Stilton ! and next week it is valentines day so I chose this book. this book has lost of pitchers and the strong word have some another color so it is very easy to read.
I think this book is a little bit to easy so next time I will choose a harder book.

I used to love these books when i was little and there is no difference now. I think the best parts are the pictures and the text. I love the dramatic language of the book and the different fonts they use throughout the book to make it interesting.
This one in particular is all about Valentines Day. But Geronimo’s Valentines Day does not go as planned. He always throws a big party with all of his friends. He goes through multiple set of disasters though such as a sewer pipe breaking in his house, his found not getting delivery or smushed, his band missing their flight, his multiple injuries throughout the day and so many others things. In simple terms this book is an absolute disaster. But in the end with the help of his new friend and all his old friends he makes his Valentines Party a success.
Something i like about this book in particular is that it Ives you background on what Valentines Day is, how it was created, how to bake cakes, how to make pizza, how pizza came about, etc. It just gives so much information and not just an interesting story.

This book was very good and was a throwback. Geronimo has huge Valentine's Day plans but they get foiled with all sorts of crazy stuff happening. He pushes through all of the craziness and ends up having a good Valentine's Day after all. I thought it was a good book with a lot of humor but also has a good message hidden in it. It can push students to persevere through rough days, weeks, months or even years. Even when stuff goes wrong, you are still able to push through and make something good come from it. I would have this in my class library and allow students to read it whenever they want.

Would be 4 stars as my son usually likes these but I docked it a star for encouraging balloon releases. He was so upset one of his favorite characters would let go of balloons on purpose that he doesn’t want to read any more Geronimo Silton books. Balloon releases are terrible and should be banned, not suggested as something fun to do as a Valentine’s Day activity. It’s just fancy littering. I was very surprised and disappointed when that happened in the story and was suggested for the reader to also do.

This book follows Geronimo Stilton on his favorite holiday, Valentines day! However, starting at the very beginning of the day he faces a lot of different disasters that ruin his valentine’s day. He has to navigate through them to make the best he can out of a bad day. I LOVE these books. I relate to Geronimo and love the mischief that happens around him. This was a really cute story about valentine’s day.

💋💗A very simple read for me & very nostalgic since I adored this book series when I was in Elementary school. I like the colorful & artistic fonts and artwork within the story. However the story was kinda repetitive & stale for me personally. I love Valentine's day so of course, I loved all the hearts & v-day themed aspects in the book. I especially liked the recipes & tips on valentine's day decorations & desserts at the end of the book 💗💋

While my little one has read parts of chapter books to me before, this is the first chapter book that she read to me cover to cover! Excluding, of course, the informational sidebars that are a little past her reading level. Currently, Geronimo Stilton has replaced Ronald Dahl as her Favorite Author Ever, but Mary Pope Osborne with her Magic Tree House series is making a serious run for second place.

We're so glad you read "Valentine's Day Disaster" by Geronimo Stilton! This story shows us that even when things don't go as planned, we can still make the best of any situation with a positive attitude. Just like Geronimo found ways to turn a disaster into something special, remember that you can always find a silver lining in tough times. Keep smiling and spreading your joy, just like you do every day!

The main event is when they went to the back to tell the chef he did well. but when they went down he was putting rat poison in the food. I would give to book five stars because it is a great book to read for book reports.
