Well, not really, but this should tell you all you need to know about me and my writing style.
I'm a huge Marvel (plus Game of Thrones, Star Trek AND Star Wars) fan, which shows since my novel is loaded with pop culture references. If you are a sci-fi fan (I assume that you are, otherwise what are you doing here?) you will enjoy them tremendously. I even went full Deadpool in my first draft and broke the fourth wall multiple times, until my editor told it was distracting and kept taking her out of the moment. Shame. Those fourth-wall breaks were hilarious. Still, I can guarantee a few laugh-out-loud moments. Case in point: The "good" aliens in my novel are a race of pranksters, whose main goal in life is pulling other people's legs (They have four legs, hence the slight change in the idiom). My favorite author is Jim Butcher (The Dresden Files), which is probably how I ended up writing in a first-person POV with the same light-hearted, funny tone as he does. The fact that my MC's name is Jim is purely coincidental though.
I am a university/college level English teacher, and including Canada, I have lived and worked in five different countries. I have met people from all around the world. Plus, my parents are from a different background, and so is my wife. As a result, diversity has become a major theme in my novel. My characters look like the bridge crew from Star Trek. One of my female characters even impersonated Uhura once, albeit posthumously.

Conspiracy.
The imagination of the author Sean Robins keeps amazing from book to book in this series, where have he got the idea for this conspiracy no one can know.
The first 6 where just awesome and just as you thought that the story was over the author surprised us all and probably himself to, with the idea of a continuation of another three book’s creation of a series of nine.
Number seven was written in perfection as a continuation and a beginning of the ending of book nine.
The narrator C. J. Gray is, perfectly voicing each of the characters in the series.

Wish my English teacher on the 80s could imagined cool stories like this.
I've left a couple of reviews on earlier books in this series and they just keep getting better and weirder. Sean Robins has a wild imagination and maybe a little OCD that he puts to use writing this great series of craziness that's been a awesome read. Finally a answer if there's just a higher power that like screwing with us as a favorite pastime or hobby! I love it and know that I'm not the only one that looks up thinking What's Next?, or What did I do to deserve this? .. LOL Great read, fun books, and a must read for LMBPN fans

Alternate universe point of view was interesting.
The characters remained true to their counterparts and the action level never disappoints.
Loved the point of view where the main characters were not always top dog and had to struggle to survive or did not survive and their alternate version stepped in to counter their loss.
The narration as always was great and the characters and emotion for each character was great.
This book was provided free of charge with the expectation of an honest review.

Sean Robins has continued to amaze me. I loved this book. In an alternate universe some things are the same while others are definitely different. The Jim in the other universe wrote a book about his exploits and somehow many people in this alternate universe have read the exploits of the savior of the universe. Too bad this Jam in in a work camp and is no ace pilot in space. So let the fun begin. After reading this I can't wait for the final book coming out in 2023. Sean, it's cruel to make us wait so long! I'll have to send a Xenoakakie after you

Interesting twist
It was fun seeing this alternative side of the characters in the parallel universe. You still had the same laughs and excitement with the characters as in the previous books just different. All I can say is it's another amazing book in this series and I'm looking forward to book 8.

General Maada follows the invaders back to the White Republic universe, then begins the campaign to liberate it. Joining forces with the universes doppelgangers, he forms new friendships and allies. Good story, that opens the characters to act slightly differently in this mirror universe.

What an epic story. An alternate universe is something different, but can be dangerous. Great characters, plenty of action to keep you gripped. Well written. Can’t wait for the next book

I can't even express how much i love this series..
Sometimes i wish it was turned into a TV series or a few movies but then i remember they rarely do the books any justice

This was interesting that it took place in another universe with the same people. I liked where Jim was found, and that he grew into the man he was in the first universe.

I really like Jim and his alliance. Jim has a wry wit and is a movie geek, so you'll get plenty of pop-cultural references which will give you plenty of laughs.
If you pick up the audio version you'll in for a treat as CJ Grey has a story to tell you.
