This collection of Warren Miller’s best writing is taken from his three books (Wine, Women, Warren, and Skis; On Film and Print; and Lurching from One Near Disaster to Another), his columns for Ski magazine, and his films. Miller, famous for bringing the sport of skiing to the big screen, writes with wit and keen insight about skiing, filmmaking, and traveling. Black-and-white photos and illustrations are included. “A combination of Jean-Claude Killy, Robert Redford, Ingmar Bergman, and Woody Allen.” -- Los Angeles Times
Loved this book by Warren himself! I’ve been watching his movies since the early 70’s and Never tired of his sharp wit and sense of humor. This book is a bit repetitive here and there but I can never get enough!
