The Germans have invaded Holland. The De Boer family have become an active part in the resistance. They distribute illegal flyers and hide divers, English flyers, and Jews. One man becomes almost like family.
This is a great book! I thought I would be bored out of my mind from this series, but now I and addicted to it!

This is a four book series that is currently out of print. I read it as a child and LOVED the stories about a family living throught the Nazi occupation of WWII. Similar to Anne Frank and Corrie Ten Boom stories but on an easy to read 5th or 6th grade reading level. I spent years trying to find a used copy, I don't know where my copy went that I had as a child, and finally was able to find the set. I hope to someday get these either reprinted or made into free etexts.
