I really admire Princess Diana. Although I was still a little girl when she passed away, but as I grow up, learning about her history really makes me admire her even more.
She really was an amazing woman.
I can't imagine being in her shoes.
Unhappy and unhealthy marriage, a lot of pressure, no privacy, but she still fought for her children, and even helped many people with her charities.
I wish she was still with us today and watched her grandchildren grow up :(

One thing that will never change for me:
I SO F*CKING HATE CAMILLA!!!

I borrowed this book from my friend who got this at BBW sales last December. Mainly I liked the photos of Diana, Princess of Wales and the descriptions. Like everyone else around the world, I adore Diana. Her life was a fairy tale came true and although it ended tragically, her story touched me. Amazing isn't it? I was only 4 years old when she died but her story, her contributions, her philanthropic works, and her legacy that are still alive until today moved me. Moreover, she did became who she said she wanted to be. A queen of people's hearts.

My friend Kate gave me this book for my birthday b/c she knows I love Princess Diana and collect books about her. This book shows the covers of all of the People Magazines Diana was on, and a few selected articles. It was also interesting to see that the price of the magazine went up from 95 cents in 1981 to $3.95 in 1997.

This was a pretty good "starter" read on Princess Diana - I knew next to nothing about her prior to reading this. Lots of pictures and quick, gossipy tidbits about her life (taken with a grain of salt - I'm looking forward to reading a more in-depth biography on her so I can separate the fact from celebrity gossip).

Clear pictures and an excellent compilation.

On thing though: I recently watched the film Diana and it told of her affair to an Indian doctor which was found out by the public. Why was it not shown here? It just went straight to her and Dodi, which the movie had implied was planned by Princess Di.

Oh well, it was still informative and a really cool compilation to have.
