This book was written by a wonderful woman who is a role model and friend. She wrote the book as a way of dealing with the death of her son in a plane accident. It is her life story, simply told. She was born in Chicago in 1926. Her father was a minor gangster and her brothers were also probably involved with mob activity. She married and had 6 children and has lived in Chicago, New England, the Southwest and the Pacific Northwest, moving often and living in trailers, mobile homes and tents. She is now 86 years old and would probably tell you she had a good and uneventful life.
