Is this book supposed to be for kids? "When you reach the fire, press a button to raise the ladder. Hurry! Rescue all the people!" The next sentence might as well be "Don't worry if you can't get them all, causalities are part of the job."

DK knows how to design encyclopedic books and this one is aimed for toddlers. It has a small steering wheel and makes a fire engine sound when the button (horn) is pressed. Provides some bright pictures and informative prose. Nothing too special but parents may find this a good diversion because it doubles as a toy.
