Little Miss Birthday loves giving birthday presents. She prides herself on always picking the perfect present. But this time, it looks like one of the Mr. Men may just stump her!
Adam Hargreaves is an English author and illustrator. The son of Roger Hargreaves, he continues his father's popular Mr. Men series of children's books. Hargreaves also served as inspiration for the series. When at the age of six he asked his father "What does a tickle look like?", Roger used that question to create the first book, Mr. Tickle.
Madame Anniversaire c’est moi mais en mieux, au lieu d’être obsédée par son anniversaire et recevoir plein de cadeaux elle est obsédée par les anniversaires des autres pour leur offrir le parfait cadeau. On devrait en prendre de la graine.
Little Miss Birthday is a lovely tale about how she loves every day because each day it is someone's birthday.
She loves giving presents and loves picking the perfect gift but when it comes to Mr Wrong she finds herself stumped! What will she get for him? Normally she finds it so easy to select a gift such as a bed with no legs so Mr Bump cannot fall and hurt himself but each time she tries to think of something she gets it wrong.
Desperate to come up with the perfect present she decides to visit him to try and get an idea of how to get him the perfect gift, until she bumped into Mr Muddle and then she had the best idea.
Read this to my lil bubba on her birthday . She absolutely loved it ! , would highly recommend. Fantastic storyline , loved the journey she went aswell as that her names miss BURRDAY and it was my Magels BURRDAY 😇 - 10 teef nods / 5
I absolutely loved these Mr Men and Little Miss books. I remember getting them from my granny every week. There was so much from these simple characters, I remember filling my little bookshelf with all these books making sure I had got them all in right order. I wish I still had these books but somehow most of them got lost with many house moves or my mum gave the rest away. If I ever have kids, I will make sure they get the chance to experience these wonderful, colourful books.
A gorgeous birthday present. Written by the son of the original Little Miss and Mr Men author, this tells the story of Little Miss Birthday who loves choosing and giving the perfect birthday presents. This tale focuses on her worries in choosing the perfect gift for Mr Wrong - something we can all relate to!
Little Miss Birthday always gives the best birthday presents, until she has to select one for Mr. Wrong. She is totally up to the challenge :) Eva read this one to Alice over breakfast. They both liked it :)

One look at the festive cover and I could tell I was in for a treat.
Little Miss Birthday is a prodigious giver of birthday gifts. Impressive gifts, too, because the gifts given by this book's heroine are definitely funny to us readers. Yet sweetly effective to each recipient, as well.
Only Little Miss Birthday was stumped by what to give Mr. Wrong.
Definitely tricky, no? Think about it.
Super-funny ending. I think this is the best book I've seen yet that was written and illustrated by Roger Hargreaves's son Adam.
This is my first Mr. Men Book, I was pleasantly surprised, from the illustrations I thought they would be really boring. Loved the different characters and how they play out. Very witty.
Miss Birthday goes about choosing birthday presents that fits each character (relates to their names; Mr. Fussy, Mr. Bump) then finally she has to choose a birthday present for Mr. Wrong, and she needs to find a wrong kind of present that is right for him. Isn't that clever? Makes little kids think.
