Broken Bird is a story about a bird who is born with only one wing. However, despite the other birds laughing at him, he refuses to believe he will never fly. The stoty follows him on is journey exploring the world from the ground, and what he finds in the city brings him happiness that he could have never expected.
I really enjoyed this book as it is an inspiring tale with a very happy ending. It reminds adults and children alike to not give up on their dreams. I feel it is suitable for children aged 4+, and would ideally be read to a reception or year 1 class at school.
