Well-researched and engaging writing. 4 intriguing disasters that were the result of "progress", all but Chernobyl are disasters that people most likely have never heard of. Easy read, heartbreaking information!

Very read-able and informative. A new take (for me) on what progress is and what it actually means for societies that get swept up in it.
