Describes the nature of color, explains how the human eye works, and discusses color mixing, color in art, and the interaction between light and color perception
Great book written with the purpose of giving concrete examples of understanding color theory though demonstrations and exercises. Most of these exercises would ave best completed in a classroom, and I really wish I had a class like this available to me when I was studying fine art. Actually, I would take a class like this in a heartbeat today if it was offered near me. Excellent book if you are planning on teaching color theory and are looking for exercises and information to add to the class.
