Вообще я читала "A history of architecture in England". Но тут её нет.
Книга прекрасная, простая, понятная, с красивыми фразами, которые всегда кстати! Обрадовало, что для тех, кто не осенив искусстве разбирается, есть картинки-схемы, на которых указано, какой элемент как называется.
С научной точки зрения - это не самая глубокая книга, хотя есть пара новых мыслей. С ссылками тут сложновато (их либо нет, либо почти нет). Читала с удовольствием то, что мне было нужно 17 и 18 века.
