I picked this up at a thrift store, hoping it would be good for a few laughs. Sadly, it failed even to deliver that much. Rather than provide many examples of backmasking in rock music, the authors chose to build a case that backmasking is in fact a threat to society, mostly by citing others who feel the same way, but often by invoking junk science. The book concludes predictably, with religious proselytization and a call to action. Also not surprisingly, their "other resources" section lists several of their own works, and information on how to book them for a seminar. This book serves, if for no other purpose, as an example of organized religion's modus operandi of convincing their flock that the things they enjoy will hurt them, and then positioning the church as the solution.
