I read Frankenstein and found it underwhelming. Dracula, on the other hand, has earned its place in the pantheon of great literature. Stoker does an amazing job of setting the mood. No need to get into the plot, I think everyone knows the basics by now. If you want a vampire story, forget the dusk books, instead dive into the original!
