Gayatri Mantra in 108 writing scripts
Traditionally the Gayatri Mantra is initiated in the Yagnopavit ceremony, also called Upanayanam,
by a Master to his disciples in a gurukul.
However, most of us learn this famed mantra through radio, our grandparents or our favorite smartphone.
What is the difference? In a gurukul when the guru gives this mantra, he ensures the intellect is receptive,
respectful and compassionate in the use of the Mantra. INTELLECT governs CHARACTER & SUCCESS, and rules our

deep meanings, they emanate powerful vibrations. The whole universe is नाम रूप - name & form – i.e. vibration.
The Gayatri Mantra is traditionally known as the verse consisting of 24 syllables i.e., 24 distinct sounds.
These 24 syllables are arranged in triplets of 8 sounds.
