Author's note: This story includes a parent with dementia.
Linda G. Hill was born and raised an only child in Southern Ontario, Canada. She credits the time she spent alone when she was growing up, reading books and building worlds and characters of her own to keep her company, as the reason she became a writer.
A stay-at-home mom of three beautiful boys, Linda is a graduate of the Writing Program at St. Lawrence College in Brockville, Ontario. Aside from caring for her family, she enjoys traveling the world, eating trout cooked on the barbecue, and, of course, reading.
Stroked by Linda G. Hill. Once a Week at Woody's Book 3. Casper thinks of Woody O’Flanagan’s Pub as home, but he has a shadier stripping job to supplement his income. One he’d quit if he could just sell his artwork. Enter Tristan, the handsome lawyer who’s itching to see Casper’s etchings… Really good read. I loved Casper. 4*.
This is a sweet love story between two misfits - a male stripper with a checkered past and a man with an endearing (and sometimes humorous!) speech impediment. Casper and Tristan find love while sharing their passions for art and swimming respectively as well as their passion for each other. Though this is book three in this terrific series, this novel can easily be read as a standalone. Also features a fun cameo from a familiar character that regular readers of this author will really enjoy!
The 3rd in the woody Flanagan series and like the first 2 I couldn't put it down. I also loved the crossover which I won't spoil in here. I especially love that we get to see glimpses of past characters in each boom but I do wish we got more (maybe that's to come) as each story I have loved. Perfect escape from reality book
What a fun, touching read, I thoroughly enjoyed it. A love story between two very different men, the quiet, suit wearing lawyer and a fun loving , risk taking dancing stripper . Sparks fly and the story of interrelationships journey is spicy, heart warming and very , very funny.
I really enjoyed this book ! Why not 4 stars then ? Because, the sex was disappointing to say the least ! We got details of everything before the sex but then, it was just "they had sex all night !!! " Teasing with no results !!
Book 3 in the series. I enjoyed the previous 2 . This time we have a stripper and a lawyer involved. Love how the books weave characters from the previous books.
