Cozy, spicy, powerful...
Cozy... The entire story vibe was oddly satisfying, I would even say, therapeutic. The writing style is just so peaceful... It makes you want to climb under the blanket with a cup of tea and grin from its warmness.
Spicy... Your heart beats faster, and you're getting all hot and sweaty, but it's not cringy! That's a perfect spice level for me!
Powerful... The magic in the story is beautiful and exciting to watch. It blends in the story so well. It almost feels like magical realism most of the time.

The spice!
This book was incredibly captivating, and I found myself unable to stop reading it. Despite not usually being a fan of fantasy (it's growing on me), the way it intertwined with real life kept me engaged. The spice in this book was exceptional and on point. I am eagerly anticipating the next instalment in this series.

Disappointed
I feel like this was written by a middle schooler. The plot and magic system is there, but the writing almost killed it for me. Weird time gaps, unnecessary scenes, and poor grammar.

I was not expecting this, the story kept me flipping pages and wanting more, tastefully written in my opinion. I loved having dual povs and getting to know more of the story from both ends. Seeing how it came together at the end makes me curious where it's going in the next book and how Alexander ties it all together, definitely reading the next one asap!

This was my first romance novel from a man's perspective. I was drawn in quickly and couldn't stop reading till the end and can't wait to read book 2!

Absolutely amazing!!
I absolutely loved this book the first time I read it, and even more the second time. Alexander Ashwin creates an amazing blend of fantasy and reality. I have already purchased his next book and will be devouring it next! I cannot wait to see where the story goes!!

Amazing storyline
The storyline of Finding his Pheonix is solid. I love the character development and the progression of the story. This book could have easily had 5 stars from me if it didn't have overwhelming grammatical errors.
Generally, I don't have stars away from indie authors for grammar as we don't have a huge team at our disposal, but the constant errors were very distracting. Many of these errors could have been found with a solid proof reading or paying an editor. Again, indie authors don't make a lot of money, but there are people who can and will help if you ask.
Another issue is the chapter length. Almost every chapter in the book needs to be split into 3-5 separate chapters.

First I want to applaud the author on his first book! I absolutely loved the book! It was like I had come into this sexy fantasy mysterious world, and I wanted to be a part of it! My go to for books are erotic romance novels and this one definitely had a twist too it and I really enjoyed it! The second book of this series has recently been released, Curse of The Phoenix King and I can't wait to start that one!! So if you haven't already, add this book to your list of MUST READS, you won't be disappointed!!

One of the best written fantasy novels I've read in awhile.
I couldn't put this one down and I'm dying to get to the next book! It's so well written, the imagery is absolutely on point. I love the positive BDSM/Lifestyle aspect mixed with the fantasy style storyline. I like that it's spicy without being romance novel type storyline. Now I'm going to be impatiently waiting for the next book to drop!!!

Absolutely mesmerizing.
The author paints such a magical imagine telling the story of who Alex is and the world he is apart of. I got drawn into each detailed word written and felt like I was there. The connection he has with Amelia felt so real that it has made me longed for my own Alex. The way he looks at her, how protective of her he is, and the way she opens his heart up to feel something he has never felt before. It's trurly amazing. Each character was written with such passion that you can picture them as you read. I cannot wait for the next adventure and what the future holds. 😍

fantastic world building and story
This story is mostly told from the ML perspective but I love when the FL gets her day too. This is a refreshingly new fantasy world and story. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a breath of freshness. There are fated mates. Star crossed mates. Also covers pregnancy and child loss in passing but there is a rainbow baby to light those heartaches.

captivating story that keeps you guessing and makes you love it so much more. The characters are deep in drama and the love is brewing. You have to read it to get it but when you get it your hooked!

I read this book twice within a few weeks because I’m slightly obsessed. I’ve since read it and book two again. I’m impatiently waiting for this story to continue because Alexander painted such a beautiful picture. Characters are well thought and I loved watching the development of them. The plot was fun to follow, both for the 🌶 scenes and the way that it lead up to full on drama. I have a hard time focusing on books, and generally don’t pick them back up once I’ve read them. So the fact I have read this one three times is huge for me.
