When James' greatest accomplishment leads to the worst day of his life, he turns to the one thing that never lets him down: Glorian Online, the world's greatest completely immersive MMORPG. But a chance encounter with an old acquaintance takes things from bad to worse and even his beloved character, Crios Truelight, the Hero of Carrandor, must struggle to survive as his world crumbles around him. Betrayed and on the run, James must survive in a hostile land with nothing to rely on but his own experience, sharp wits, and maybe just a touch of heavenly intervention, if one can consider the sarcastic AI that runs the game a cyber-god.
Can James adapt to the changing world around him and make it back to his own reality in one piece? Or will the fantastical world that was his playground become his graveyard..? The only way to know is to GO: In!
Not bad Looses half a star for dissidence between character and his actions ( some defy natural human responses) Looses another half star because it just stops without any reason, where is yhe rest I wouldn't bother with it until the story is more then half a book
Solid first novel. The plot was engaging. I thought I was going to get one kind of LitRPG and then I got another. There are interesting things going on in and out of the game. I’m interested to see where things go in the next book.
