It is two years after the previous volume. Fuuga feels he needs to keep up the momentum and the only direction for him is to attack the Gran Chaos Empire. Souma is of course not to sit back and let his allies be overrun without a fight, nor do Maria and Jeanne intent to surrender.
The book starts with a bit of slice-of-life, explaining where everybody is standing. The majority consists of fast-paced politics, military movement and a bit of cloak-and-dagger. I like the fact that the plot is finally progressing, even if Souma still has a bit of an easy time. The theory is reasonably, I just wonder whether people would be this rational. At least this isekai is getting rid of slavery.
All in all, a good read.

The Kingdom of Fredonia has enjoyed some time in peace growing and building up constantly. Souma has also had additions to his family. But they are noticing that the Great Tiger Kingdom is restless. Fuuga is no longer pushing to reclaim land from demons. So Fuuga who is only after his own fame feels the need to continue expanding. Souma and his trusted Advisor are very aware of this and decide to prepara. This of course is the set as Fuuga must decide who to attack next. But he knows Fredonia will not be beaten, not with its allies and not even alone. So he will go against the Great Chaos Empire. What happens next is a great manipulation of Souma.

This volume was super exciting and I'm so sad that I'll be almost caught up in this series and can't binge it anymore 😫
Main focus is on the war between Fuuga's tiger nation and Maria Euphoria's empire. But very unexpectedly Souma's kingdom gets involved! Lots of flashbacks to scenes in earlier volumes that had foreshadowing / omitted info which we now receive to explain how this plot twist occurred. Then also lots of romantic development between the Empire's main players (Maria and Jeanne finally get romance arcs!).

An ending and a beginning
This ends the three way power struggle and begins a new 2 way power struggle it's been a fun story thus far and continues to be so though I thought somas' harem was already too big and the new additions make that problem worse and think it would have been better with a much smaller harem other than that fun read

Holy cow
This book was so incredibly well thought out and entertaining. Half way through I was seething with rage and hate for a character and then later I was impressed how well that character got outmaneuvered. Honestly this has been the best book of this series in a little while and that's despite how good the other books are. I give it a 14 out of 5. Would highly recommend

So many conclusions.
A lot of pending storylines get resolved in this volume. A lot of things we've been waiting for and a lot of happy endings. It does feel a little contrived in some places (especially romance places), but it's not too bad I guess.
Not the best in the series, but still very well planned and written. I look forward still to what happens next.

Just wow
I was on the edge of my seat the whole book when that battle between the empire and fuga was happing I really started to do wonder if soma was going to intervene after fuga married his sister off to him I'm happy for the turn events and the detail into all the back stories.

Each book takes somewhere new, and this one was no different. I'm glad to see one of the long relationships come to fruition

The volume goes into the first continental war. Long held story arcs come to their conclusion. Idk how Fuuga and Souma will co-exist

After 15 Volumes this story continues to amaze. I have often said that the mark of a great story is the antagonists. This volume proves that point. Not only is this one of the best of the series, but it sets the stage for great things to come. The only problem I have with these books is that once I'm done with them I have to wait for the next volume! It is worth the wait though!
